You can keep it local and check out the Monteagle/Tracy City area. There are many trails that will have crude camping spots along the way. It has been a little while since I have been up that way, but I am sure that it has not changed much. There are some awesome river spots about 6 miles into a trail that I can not remember the name of at the moment. Huge rocks, bluffs, boulders, river, etc...Pretty awesome place and it is close. I also second the Cherokee National Forest just over the state line in NC. We went up a couple of years ago, camped, and ran some white water. I floated most of the Nantahala River which was a blast. We also ran the Ocoee river on Sunday before we left the area, which i highly recommend.

I am pretty familiar with the stones river. We have canoed the main part of the stones river from Lascassas Bridge (96 Hwy.) To Mona Boat Ramp on Jefferson Pk. (Hwy. 266) towards Smyrna, TN. This is a spring time trip with few portages but watch out for downed trees if the water is up. In the summer you will be dragging bottom more than not. A good short sunday afternoon trip would be from the Dam @ Walter Hill (Hwy. 231 North) to Mona Boat ramp on Jefferson Pk. It would be a couple hours if you were fishing or throwing back a few cold ones. Let me know if you have any questions about the area and safe places to leave a rig to pick up the boats.

It needs some pink lettering on the front of the slide. Here are my votes: 1. PMS-9 2. No means no 3. I shoot better than I drive. (probably too long?) 4. Got Midol? -

Just a few tips I learned along the way: Be sure to prep, prep, prep. If you do any aluminum alloy frames be sure to blast with sand not glass beads. The sand will give a much rougher texture for the duracoat to adhere to. If you keep your hardener in the refrigerator it will last much longer than advertised. -
There have a been a few break in's in the Murfreesboro area recently and they perps are just walking around the apartment complex checking doors. We have them on video and it was around 8:30 on Sunday evening when you think people would be more likely to be home. One of our courtesy officers saw them and contacted dispatch for a uniformed back up and they were able to get one of the guys but the other got away. They were doing the same to cars in our area as well. We also have that on video at another apartment complex. So keep those doors locked at all times.

I work for a Property Management Company in Murfreesboro that manages around 1500 units in Rutherford County. If you are paying your rent on time and are otherwise minding your own business no landlord will pursue evicting you for having a firearm in plain view inside your apartment. If you answer the door while pointing said weapon at the property manager or are out in the parking lot waiving it around you should prepare to be evicted. It seems that common sense is not so common anymore and that is why it is standard to have that clause in the lease. Most large Management Companies use the same lease and it is prepared by the National Apartment Association and is written and defended by Attorney's around the country. You can usually negotiate the terms to some degree, but during a strong market they may not budge on policy. Another word of caution about the clauses in the lease. Please be sure that you agree with or otherwise amend the policies of the lease prior to putting down earnest money or a deposit, because if you change your mind and choose not to lease their unit due to their policies or clauses in their lease your earnest money or deposit is not refundable.

Why you middle Tennessee types can't find ammo at Wallyworld

If he drives around and trolls the wal-marts to make his money then his time is limited anyhow....he is likely to be run over by some soccer mom in mini van thinking about the deal she just got on grapes. -

+1 on the MTAC and may I suggest the slide model for the G19. I think you will find that the less length on the kydex body makes it a little more comfortable. Also, go ahead and order a couple more clips. One set you can alter or cut the excess off of when you find the sweet spot for you and the other you can keep stock.

At least he is not gouging the market with ridiculously high prices. If I needed what he has I would pay the premium, but I dont need it. I will shoot less and stock pile when needed or at least replenish what I shoot at my leisure. -
Yes they do....I also grabbed the last box of .380 auto. The funny thing was yesterday I got the last box of .380 at the Wal-Mart off Old Fort Parkway in Murfreesboro. I felt lucky the first time and the second time confirmed it. The guy before me bought all the .40 S&W they had on the shelves. His tab was over $500. I stocked up on 9mm while I was there as well. They obviously were not limiting purchases in Smyrna, but the Murfreesboro store will limit you to (2) hundred rounds per caliber.

Nice.....I have an comp tac MTAC that is a very comfortable holster. I find i like it to ride higher with more cant to keep the grip from printing.

Wal-mart in Murfreesboro (Rutherford Blvd.) had .45 this afternoon but nothing else.

The pad does well but I have no reference because it is the only press I have ever used. It might be a little thin, but it works just fine. I just use various clamps or I stand on it for a couple of minutes until it cools.

Homemade kydex press made out of 3/4 inch plywood with closed cell foam or camping pad from wal-mart as I like to call it. Heat Gun straight from Big Lots:

Here are a few I have done: Ruger LCP

I second the outpost....I just picked up my first Glock from there. It is a G19 as well.

If you have to justify your position to your friends then you need new friends.

Thanks Mike...I think you sold me a G-19 last week. Stopping by the gun stores and checking on ammo availability is killing my budget. I just can't leave empty handed.
