    First

My first was a Remington 870 in the mid 90’s. My stepbrother and I both got one for Christmas. The first semiauto I shot was a Browning SA-22. Jamomatic for some reason. When dad passed I received 3 22lr’s he had including a 22lr/22short single shot bolt action youth model he and my aunt learned to shoot on. It’ll still click but I’ve never gotten it out.
  6. I bought a few Glocks over the last 12 months and finally got all of them to the range last week. I am keeping the 48 for sure. The 17 was upgraded with Trijicon GL101O’s on it and the 19X is stock still. Both have had 3 magazines thru them. The M&P metal with the Trijicon RM06 is lights out for me so the 17 or 19X has to go. What do y’all say?
  7. I order some only because I have a FFL in the neighborhood with limited time for myself. The others are mostly friend to friend transactions.
  8. Completely different climate change for sure. Welcome to TGO and TN.
  9. Click on the link for a Benefactor Membership. For $20 you can list them in the Classifieds section. There have been a few collections sold in here. https://www.tngunowners.com/forums/store/
  10. Welcome to town. I’m just south. My neighborhood is in Thompson Station and Spring Hill. I didn’t draw the lines
  11. I work for Spring Hill and apparently I’m the senior driver . Your first paragraph sums up me the last couple of weeks. I’ve passed about 6 employees in the last year or so and hopefully 3 more tomorrow. It’s crazy that’s how we have to do it. Once a new person passes it goes to them to ready the next few for testing. I think there is one more I have to train. He was hired in with permit.
  12. February 2022 the law started. As long as you had your permit before that he can take it at the DMV. Otherwise it’s a big expense to civilians or employer. Haven’t heard one way or the other for future Public Works employees.
  13. .gov truck. So I’d say no.
  14. Air brakes is the kicker, which is why you need for a Class B CDL. A majority of these rented moving box trucks have hydraulic brakes. @Alleycat72I'm taking 3 guys this Tuesday to Columbia DMV for their attempt at the road test. One in a manual and two in automatic. Them two can’t drive a stick to save their lives!
  15. Penske has trucks to rent but without a CDL you can’t even fill out paperwork I’d imagine. Part of my job description says I had to get one in a year, but we have vehicles on property to “train” on. At this point in the commercial driving market they normally cover everything to get your CDL to hire you in. Not figure out before we hire kinda deal.
  16. I’m about the same build as you but go IWB at 4 o’clock and can hide a G17 with any shirt I own.
  17. A & A Services of TN. 615-838-5875 I've seen a few of his decks.
  18. As few and far between range time is, I always run at least 1 if not 2 full mags of self defense ammo on my 2 carry guns. Then just send range stuff until I feel confident at different yardages hitting the spots picked on the target. I have more than 2 handfuls of carry options but I've narrowed it to 2 for all seasons. My shorts are too big and jeans are too tight so the way I carry varies too.
  19. Marked as Closed/Sold March 19
  20. Google “mil spec phone”. Should find a winner there. I’ve had success with OtterBox and a screen protector and been fine. Washed my XR in the sink with Dawn and did fine. It’s hanging on, but the 13 keeps popping up. OtterBox warranty is great too.
  21. 1214 Lakeview Dr, 37067 Off HWY 96 in Franklin, TN. It's been there since I moved here in 2005. No idea what was there before that.
  22. I've a few Glocks over the years. 26, 23, 19, 19.4, 19X, 17.5 and the later a 48. The trigger safety on the 48 really hits my finger in the wrong spot. Not sure if it's thinner than a normal wide body model or not. Need suggestions on a replacement. Online searching is a cluster if you believe that, Not opposed to paying up for it either. Hopefully something I can handle at home too. Do like the picture says or something else?
  23. Mt Juliet
  24. @sigbrown1297 is the guy. TS Tactical is his new site.
