  1. Had a neighbor that is a Franklin officer. It's not as glamorous as it seems anymore.
  2. Welcome
  3. I've got my 9 and 40 fix for now but the FN FNX-45 (not the Tac version) has caught my eye. But those are sharp looking.
  4. Williamson County has all of the stuff your looking for. Might have to drive a little to fish though. Schools and health care are nice around here.
  5. Didn't know about the new Lightweight until now. That's sharp looking.
  6. Tagged for crowd report
  7. Haven't seen to many Rocks in stock anywhere. I'm assuming the price point keeps them off the shelves. Nashville Armory has had one or two. Missed stopping by yesterday. Now I'm looking at them too dang it.
  8. +1 on the mobile site.  I tried Tapatalk and tossed pretty soon after loading it up on my Droid. The mobile site is great.
  9. With my small neighbourhood here, I'm usually no more than 5 minutes from the house so I fly home if it gets bad. If I was in your position why not hold it (the 226 holstered hopefully) in your hands. Once done put it all back together.
  10. Been wearing them since the mid 90's. Made a huge difference when back into sports the following season I started wearing them. I wear the monthly lens now. Just wish I could get the correction surgery. Little high in price for me these days.
  11. I've had this 1980's era 686 6" no dash since my father passed in 2007. For years it rode in a cheap nylon holster for range trips. Additionally, everything I found online was for a 4" barrel. I enlisted our own gjohnsoniv on a previous holster as well and decided to use him again. This is the one he made for my G23 a while back. And this is what I received a few days ago to carry the beast of a 686 in. Gave him a two simple requests- single belt loop and thumb snap. Nailed it. Enjoy..
  12. Talk it over with gjohnsoniv. Just received my second from him.
  13. Welcome aboard.
  14. If your doing the whole firearm you will have to meet with him. If it's only the slide, you can mail that.
  15. Amendment 2 Custom Coatings is a vendor here. Lost's of folks including myself have had stuff done by him. Not sure who to send you to for trigger work.
  16. Mine does, a key, and a long one at that. Which reminds me, I haven't replaced that battery in about 7 years. Need to work on that shortly.
  17. After handling one at a shop this week, I'm determined to get one. FN FNX-45 in FDE Use for HD(15+1 ) and range fun.
  18. I pulled my lower out and scaled the element as it was coming out. Still has about 8" of scuz in the bottom. Biggest thing around here is flushing them every 6 months or more to keep it clear, whoops.
  19. Do you think the online sales and ease of transfers are putting a hurt on shows in general? Like you said Mac, seems like a middle TN show should be popular. They used to be.
  20. Is it worth the admission for a rainy Sunday stroll?
  21. We moved here in 2005, there was nothing to do then. Two kids and a traveling wife there is plenty to do. It's tripled in size as far as housing, shopping and population since we moved here. Little crowded for me these days.
  22. I'm now a Keurig 2.0 owner. Wife had to pick up some work supplies from Costco and I had the truck, so I met her there. I could spend hours walking that place.
  23. Heard a radio commercial today about it. The guy was really selling as the biggest and best show around. Major issues with traffic getting to the place with the bridge out. There is a recent thread on here somewhere.
  24. Frankies Pizza and Grill is a good one but cost a few bucks. Grecian Pizzeria is supposed to yum too. Haven't tried that one yet.
  25. It is sleepy unless you enjoy a few cold ones. Best bet is run to the Cool Springs area in Franklin (20 minutes north). Fun is up there for now. Good food, drinks and sports, hit Jonathan's Grill next to the mall.
