  1. Very nice
  2. Ordered my FNS9 once again. Hopefully the inventory has been corrected.
  3. 1. It's run by the Sheriff's office I'm assuming. They made the rules. I wouldn't test them. With that many people stomping around I wouldn't be worried about 4 legged critters as they would go the other way most likely. 2. I'd lace up myself if I lived in the area and my wife wasn't a road warrior. Most likely have a blade of some fashion on my belt like I always do.
  4. I'm old school I guess for a 38 year old. I use irons only for plinking. I do have a HKS-22b for loading magazines for my 22/45 and MKI.
  5. Didn't go right. 5 days after I ordered it I got an email today saying "we have had an error in our inventory". Called yesterday and was told it would probably ship Monday. Hope to see a credit before my bill is due in two weeks. Not a good result at first time online buying.
  6. National Guard Armory off of 412.
  7. gjohnsoniv does good work. Both of these are his. One on the left is for a G19/23 and on the right is a S&W 686 6".
  8. Well I found mine already from post #4. FNS9 with night sights. Didn't care for the sights either way. It was to good of a deal to pass on. First order online so I hope it all goes right.
  9. I have the 5378 and like it a lot for a paddle style. It's slimmer than the 6378 and the release is with the middle finger vs the thumb.
  10. Mine still works. Reading what you did there it should be doing what it's supposed to do.
  11. Anyone else dumping 40 send me a PM with your ammo. Thread took a side road I guess. Thought it was a short yes or no question. My mistake.
  12. Another Glock 23 Gen3 here.
  13. Full size 9mm for me. G17, FNS9 and the M&P are my choices. Scratched the G19 due to the fact I have larger magazines already for my G26. I like variety in brands myself that's why I'm leaning towards the FN right now. Musicman- The 686 in 6" is fun. Mine is from 1982. I'll send you a holster maker if you pick one up. Had to have one custom made as no one makes one in 6".
  14. Will the HCP adjust with the DL length? Mine don't expire at the same time so it's not a concern for me. For some reason they are a year apart now.
  15. Thanks Chuckt. Wife's Christmas list got long this year but I could have found money somewhere.
  16. Welcome aboard from Spring Hill
  17. Thanks OS. Hoping you would answer this.
  18. How is OC'ing during a trip to VA fixing that for us in TN? Wouldn't be that difficult for a LEO to notice you at some point during any day entering a TN licensed vehicle and come talk to you. What am I missing?

  20. This stinks. The last two trips I've made home, I have driven to carry the tonnage of stuff relating to having a family of 4 while the wife and kids fly. Staying for 7 days is tonnage. Guess we all fly now. I enjoyed the 10+ hour ride all to my self. It's only once a year but it might be worth while looking at getting an out of state permit if that will still be allowed. Shame really that the Commonwealth pulled this. Edit: I think TN's permit steps are more than Va's. Not sure but I think that's the case.

    M&P 9mm

I passed on an FNS9 today and shouldn't have. Had night sights that I didn't care for but just couldn't take out my wallet. Had the money just couldn't say "I'll take it".
  22. I never thought to own one until I received some of my father's when he passed(I was 30 at the time). I have since started my own collection and got my permit 4 months after we said our goodbyes.
  23. I bought 2 of them and they look decent. See what they look like after sitting in the garage over winter. Quick ship on these also. Ordered Sunday and showed up today. Nice for free shipping.
  24. Just quoting this for a response when I have a few more minutes later in the day. Short response is we are going to spend a day saying hi and thanks at Vanderbilt Children's in the next few weeks. We spent a while there during the first half of this year with my then 1 year old daughter(now two and healthy).
  25. Ruger 22/45 is my vote. I was looking at the MKIII when I talked to hipower. Of course he had a 22/45 Talo Edition sitting and collecting dust. Only problem is it chews through 10 rounds in a hurry.
