  1. Welcome aboard.
  2. Fella got pulled aside randomly and run through a metal detector. http://www.guns.com/2016/10/26/new-orleans-man-arrested-after-trying-to-bring-gun-into-epcot-video/
  3. Welcome from the Central Time Zone. Yay for another 40cal fan. Mine is more range fun now that I've tested 9mm in a self defense round.
  4. Classy right there
  5. I'm not tearing one down again until it just won't shoot any longer. Cleaned a new 22/45 (for some unsmart reason) and put an idiot mark on it in the assembly process.
  6. 72 dirty pieces of 38 Special brass, mostly S&B. There are a few 357MAG mixed in. Tired of shuffling the bag around the garage. Not much but I'll mail it or meet in Williamson County somewheres.
  7. +1 on these holsters. I've got an IWB and OWB for my FN.
  8. Welcome aboard. Benefactor memberships are in the Store (bargain price might I add) for selling most anything.
  9. @gjohnsoniv this fella can handle any leather work. To be fair there are a few members here that like to work on this type material. Maybe they will chime in.
  10. I think you confused this guy. This looks more like the the common "Mall Ninja" species. They are similar though. There is another comment I'll hold off on though. My manners can't let me type awful thoughts like that.
  11. What do you need information on? Get a good belt and don't save a buck on a holster. I carry both iwb and owb a FN FNS9 without worrying about being "made". I'm 5'9" and "fit" for 39 years. There are a million combinations of belts and different holsters. It feels like everyone is staring at you but they aren't. The smart phones have taken everyone's awareness and flushed it.
  12. I wore a glove the first few times I shot mine with mags. You can feel the heat sometimes. 44 mag might push and kick where the 357 just kicks. Haven't shot 44 to compare. Just take a "high" grip. Like the web between thumb and index almost touching the hammer.
  13. I have the 6". Had a member here make a holster since no one else did. Probably never carry it in public but need (or wanted more like it) to tote it in something. 357 mag is a handful in mine at the range. Hang on to yours for sure.
  14. When we bought our '16 Accord in March it hit me that my 7 year old would be driving it someday. We usually hang on to one 8-10 years if I have a say in it. Wife would change every 5-6 if I didn't speak up.
  15. Don't you have foggy windows in the winter with the humidity? I paid up when my freon left my 1993 S-10. Refill of r-12 cost me a few dollars. Kicking myself to this day for selling it in 2002.
  16. I ran my G23 yesterday. After the first mag they leveled out with 165 grain. Might have to put it back in rotation. JHP's are a different animal though. I need a few more range trips before I can restock. Space is limited right now.
  17. I've tried Trimec but it's not getting the crabgrass. I'll try this stuff if I can find a small bottle of it. Seems like TSC might only carry a gallon size.
  18. I just got a 6S to decide if I liked it better than Android. I wouldn't use that emoji anyways with how PC everybody is these days. Wonder if the knife, casket, and the bloody syringe make the cut.
  19. S&W 686 no dash L-frame. This reminds me that this needs a range trip shortly and a new photo.
  20. Found out that the 20oz does fit under the Keurig. That's a plus. I would have gotten the 30oz but a new full set of golf clubs shut me down for the year. Thanks @TGO David
  21. Slickguns has it listed from $680-750. I would think a local shop would be on the higher end of that range.
  22. Bump. Anything showing up yet?

    glock 19

The "hump" is why I nixed a Glock while looking at 9mm. I like my 23 but wanted a different manufacturer for my next compact. FN's FNS-9 fit the bill nicely and it's the same size as the G19.
  24. Is there anyway to see how many different User Names have logged in since the software flip? It says 26k members on the home page but about 100 peruse anymore seems like.
