Yeah, They call it an RBF. I had saved it in my favorites back when I was thinking about going that route. The link worked back then. Unfortunately, I can't find the name of the maker.

I have a 30 cal rifle can that is sealed. I also have a break down 9mm can that I used to use with blackout, but the 30 cal can is a lot quieter. I would be shooting lead in a 300 blackout, but I guess I would have to use the louder 9mm can with the lead.

Huh...well, not sure why their link no workly. It was a shroud like you all speak of that you could thread on, and then install the supressor inside it. It had slots cut into it to make it lighter. It required you adding threads just a bit beyond the muzzle, then screwing the shroud on. At that point you could pin/weld it making it permanent. You still use the original threads on the barrel for the suppressor. Again, basically what you all are talking about, but it threaded on.

Do any of you have experience with rifle cans and POI shifts? I finally got to shoot my SCAR 17 with my new can. The can is steel and inconel contruction, so it is a heavy piece. I grouped well with the can, though it did open my groups up quite a bit. I went from about 1 inch 5 shot groups at 100 unsuppressed to about 1.5 inch groups...though, I got a bit crazy and the suppressed 1.5 group was comprised about 15 shots intstead of 5. Anyway, the only thing that concerned me was that my POI shift was straight down about 6MOA at 100. The SCAR has a light profile barrel, so that may be normal. Was just wondering what you all thought. EDIT: these were full power loads, BTW.

Michonne is like Snake Eyes fron GI Joe. Always present, yet peripheral...doesn't speak or communicate much, but sweeps in and kills a bunch. I read through comic 80 or so (I think the prison/governor arch is in the 30's?)...and even after all that, she isn't a huge character. She is basically the black version of Uma in Kill Bill...born of a era when all action movies starred an ass-kicking 130lb chick breaking the arms and legs of 230 lbs men ad nauseum. Wait, we are still in that era of action films.

On another note, does anyone else think the Governor's henchman, the big black guy with the tight and short dreads, could turn into the comic's version of Tyreese? I have never really thought that T-Dog was supposed to be him.

10mm's are awesome. I have a G2 20 with a lonewolf barrel and compensator. I like the Doubletap 200 SWC hard lead load. But have the 135gr Nosler shells too. If you are shooting any ammo that can found on the shelves at BassPro. You are not loading your 10 properly. You are just carrying 40 S&W (Short and Weak). None of the big commercial ammo companies load the 10mm to the original specs. They all use the watered down "Lady FBI Agent" load. The only ones I know of that load it correctly are Doubletap and Buffalo Bore...but there may be a couple others out there. Georgia Arms loads it light, at least they did last year. I don't know if they still do. If it is a 165 grain bullet, it should probably be somewhere around 1450 FPS IIRC. The 200gr Hard Cast bullets clock right at 1300 out of mine.

That is the worst leg injury in football I have ever seen. I want to know what the latest is on it, but I am afraid to google it and see pictures again. This was worse than Theisman, Napolean Kaufmann, Aaron Haydon...it was awful. That was the kind of thing they amputated for a half century ago. If he was a horse they would have shot him on the field.

Thankfully they are toning him down. He was over the top in the comics, and not relatable, at all. I will try to speak about this without creating spoilers for those who haven't seen yet, I can't speak of his motivation for his private moment at the end of the episode, but as for the happenings surrounding the earlier posts regarding the rear-sightless rifle. No one is trustworthy in this world. I mean, I can't be sure Rick would have behaved any differently. Any force that has the capability to pose a threat--whether likely or not--is going to be seen as the enemy. I don't think he acts out of evil (like the comic book Governor), but rather, like Rick, he will do ANYTHING to protect what's his...and that means dealing with potential threats as well. I could be wrong, certainly. It may be revealed that he just wants to be in charge at all costs, and would hold out even if normal society were being re-established all around him. But I don't get that vibe just yet. His actions with the crash survivor, however, may support this view. I hope they don't go with the governor's "child" angle they had in the comics either.

So, if you use gas checks, can you shoot lead bullets through a sealed suppressor without fouling it heavily? I have heard mixed opinions.

Well, when your riding in a car and the driver tells you he's "packed his bags, spoken to God, and is ready to go" you get a little nervous. When an opposing hockey player tells you he's busted pucks on crossbars before, it is fairly sobering as well.

If they will replace the lamps that it pretty sweet. I always wondered about that.

Does the illumination fade in those over time like in tritium night sights? I believe the glow is gone after 10 years in a nightsight...not sure about the scopes.

It will shoot either 308 or 7.62 x 51 (7.62 NATO), but don't expect to find 7.62 for less than 50 cents a round. You may find Tula or Wolf for 45 cents or so, but any brass is going to be closer to .55 or .60.

I do not subscribe to the "suppressed .22 is all you need" theory. A zombie brain is tougher than a human brain, because the part of the z brain you need to hit is stop it is much smaller than the human part. They glaze over this on TWD, and pretty much any shot to the head or eye works, which is BS. You better take out that stem, or its going to keep coming. For this reason, you need a little more horsepower. You obviously don't want too much gun, but because of weight, not expense. Fiat currency will be worthless during WWZ, but fast foot speed will be at a premium. Lugging around all those 300gr 454 Rounds is going to be trouble. Day By Day probably has it right. An AR in 223 will work great. Bonus points if it is suppressed, maybe even more bonus if it is supersonic because the noise of the bullet is going to draw the zeds towards the last point it was supersonic. And any head shot with a 223 is likely to do the job.

The Hijack is now complete! Falling Skies had a lot of potential, but it looks more like network tv than cable. It is ok, but misses on many levels.

I think the show is a lot better than the comic. What works in a comic doesn't always work so well in live action, and vice versa...different demographic. The comic is much more brutal than the show.
