There is no debate. The finale took it down to about 14th. I'd rather watch "Manimal". As for the OP, c'mon man. Get with it.

Very nice!

I have nightmares where I am being besieged by "Grays" but don't have any mags loaded...so I tend to keep them all topped off, which is a lot.

atlas3025 replied to Semiauto's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
Ok, finally got my YHM 45 Can...w00t! Mailed check and form 4 off on May 1, 2012. Check Cleared Sept 27, 2012 Stamp affixed and form approved March 14, 2013 Came back in the mail March 30, 2013. Capsized canoe and lost the can the next day. One month short of a year for the whole deal. -
Well, most of the Democrat party would be fine disbanding the US, and all other nations, and joining a single world governing body. The President would certainly agree to that. Remember, to him and those like him, The United States is the 1%. Only way to be fair is to blend with with the 99% that is the rest of the world.

Very glad that you are still with us.

Not thru issue 95...which is a LONG time after the prison.

I finished watching The Bible last night, and decided to hold TWD for last at the 11p showing (because I prefer Vikings on the History Channel to TWD at this point, and it aires at 10p.) Man, what a dud to end the night. The finale to The Bible was outstanding. Vikings was outstanding, then TWD thuds leaving me angry as I try to go to bed. There was no cliffhanger leaving me waiting til next season. There was no resolution to the plot points that have been building all season (Governor vs. Rick, Michonne, Maggie, etc)... But hey, at least we finally got the Governor vs. Milton trope resolved...because I know that's been eating at everyone..."Oh man, what's gonna happen when Milton and the Gov finally go head to head ?1!1?!??1!!!!?!?!?!?" The Gov and Prison arch wasn't all that interesting to me in the comics...so I was glad to know if was going to be over last night...only it wasn't. They are just going to hunker down in the prison I guess, with a bunch of baggage in the form of new people. I would prefer them just go back to the farm. At least Laurie was killed off in Season 3, but yet I still have to see her every other episode. That episode left me not caring what happens next. Hopefully the Governor goes off to become the next Democrat mayor of DC or Detroit and we never have to see him again. He is no more rotten than what they have had in recent years. Awful. I am a little concerned now about AMC shows. Hell On Wheels was great the first season and then still pretty good in season 2, then it had a totally WTF season finale for S2 that may have killed the series. They fired the writers from TWD after season 1...yet it was the best season. Breaking Bad has been amazing for so long, and is wrapping up this summer. Will they be able to close it out strong? The abortion that was that last TWD episode has me doubting it.

He is a hypocrite that wants to infringe on your constitutional rights. Ban his dog, then sue the breeder out of existance and make him carry insurance and pass a background check before he gets another one. The seal was an innocent bystander. How many more seals have to die?

I have wondered about this too. But I would advise against referring to them as "Sheeple" in mixed company. It has the same effect as calling The President (either current or former) a "Nazi" or "Hitler." People just tune you out when go down that road. I'm not saying you do, so please don't misunderstand...just a cautionary note.

Lord no. I just mean that the ammo flipping would stop if the big box stores upped their prices a bit to get the speculators out of the equation.
-
Indeed, as a consumer in a capitalist system it is your responsibility to look for the best deal. If you don't The Invisible Hand vanishes...or would if you could see it. In this case the effect of The Invisible Hand vanishes...yeah.

They should keep prices low, like Walmart. Of course then they would be cleaned out too. Its a pickle. But if Walmart (and other big box retailers) had raised their prices, the bulk buying wouldn't have occured that has led to the shortages. There shouldn't be room for a post-retail reseller to make enough profit for it to be worth their time. Of course, if they had raised their prices to stop this, we would have whined about retailers "gouging". I would rather pay the retailer $55 a box for 22 than the guy cleaning out Walmart.

If you sell it for profit I assume you need to report that as taxable income, too. Bonus points! ATF and IRS on your ass!
-
I'm thinking off all the glocks that will be out there. People have been paying over retail for police trade ins with more coming on the market. Maybe the days of a $400 or lower G19 will return.

Lol...it does me good to see most the cops laughing. Of course there is an ass-hole in every crowd.

Kerry Commits U.S. To U.N. Arms Trade Treaty Gun Ban
atlas3025 replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
As I understand it, John Kerry served in Vietnam. -
Yeah, IRL that would be a problem, but by the time it was revealed on the show, it was totally a "who give's a shit" kind of moment. Lol, I got the feeling that the only point to the "everyone infected" bit was so that they could posit the possibility of the baby dying before birth, then killing Lorie from within by reanimating...which, ultimately the baby DID kill Lori...so even that was irrelevant.
-
A small point that someone else may have made, but the 92FS didn't have slides blow off, that was the 92F. The FS specifically fixed that by changing the design of a minor part..
-
Yeah, I don't think the writers of this show are THAT detailed. I mean they made a point to finish season 1 with Jenner's secret (that he whispered to Rick) and in the end it was a total throw away "everybody is infected" which really has no impact on anything. It just means you have to shoot the dead before they become undead. Hardly a big deal given the circumstances. Lol, they even revealed the secret with Rick just basically saying "I knew we were all infected, Jenner told me." Frankly the writing on TWD is pretty weak (hence the writers all getting fired after season 1). Its the subject matter that makes the show popular, not the strength of story. The only show that I watch where there are absolutely no throw aways is "Breaking Bad". Everything on that show means something. To the point that one character always wears purple clothing--but they never bring it up or point it out--you just have to notice...then in the closing scene of the last episode she is wearing a different color. OMG WTF does that mean? I don't know...but it will mean something. For those of you who watch BB, I am talking about Marie. Around the pool just before Hank takes a #### in the last episode, notice she is wearing yellow. Sorry, just had to give props to BB. Best show on TV. Back to TWD!

You should report that you have a Slurpee too.

The first time I read that I missed the "let". I thought whoa! You didn't mention that when we met =P I didn't vote...and you got the AR from me! But I know how it is to have an "itch" for a certain gun. I do think you'd love a 300 BLK and the AR gives you that option for nothing more than the cost of a barrel and some ammo. Barrels can be had for under $200. You may need a pistol length gas tube if you go that route. That is $10. But I love 308 too, my SCAR eats a lot of it! For me it really just comes down to bolt vs. semi, and if I could have only one, it would be semi every time.

In fairness, the $69-79 variety from Palmetto pre-PSH were the blemished ones. They were still perfectly servicable, but had either scuffs or were slightly out of spec. I think it had been quite a while since they had any for $59...maybe on a holiday. Given these aren't blems' they are only $10-20 higher than 2012 prices. I have noticed they have had some go up every day for the last week or so. Now if BCG's would just loosen up...

I suspect in a true SHTF scenario, there should be a pretty good number parts and complete guns lying around on the ground and in the mass graves.

Amy was bittin in the neck too IIRC. I would suspect if bitten in a vein you would get sick quicker...but this is all moot. The Gov is not going to die of a fever. Come on. In the comic he gets eaten I think. Been a while. Of course the show has gone way off the comic too, so I don't think it matters what happened in the book.
