  1. This was an awesome post to see this morning. I’ve never seen one of these in real life before and this might have been the most fun I have had taking a history lesson lol
  2. you have given me some things to research and read about. i appreciate the details with your equipment as well and i am reading some things about all them.
  3. this is what i wanted to hear. i wanted to hear the pros and cons. With it being my first one i thought maybe i should try out a pistol cartridge first, but i am so "all in" with everything that i needed to hear this. Thank you and i think i am gonna go with maybe a 357 for my first one, but i saw that 500 s&w magnum and i got the twitch again LOL i think 357 would be a good place to start, do you know which brand would be my best bang for the buck and do you know if a 357 lever gun shoots 38 like a revolver or is that only in revolvers?
  4. that isnt something on my wishlist (not a .40 fan) but i do appreciate the offer
  5. I am leaning towards 45-70 for the versatility but i have heard 30-30 can be just as versatile i think the bigger round would work better, but this is why i am asking. plus i want to hear if anybody prefers a different caliber than what is listed and why

    Lever Guns

I am new to the idea of a lever gun and am in the market. With that said, those of you more familiar, what do you suggest and why… 45-70 or 30-30?
  7. Man you are gonna have a blast with this thing! I am hoping to get a lever gun soon as well. Have fun with this one, I know it won’t be hard LOL
  8. I have had some questions on a cash price, and the pistol is not for sale. If you have a cool trade, my ears are open; but this is a M11 designated 228/229. I will be keeping it if there isn’t something fun that catches my eye.
  9. I’ve been wondering the same thing because you still show the ad is pending instead of sold. If something changes with the pending sale, I would like to throw my hat in the ring as well.
  10. i would certainly be willing to look at it, shoot me a PM with some pictures or PM and i can give you my number if would be easier to text them
  11. I have a used Sig M11 with bright night sights and 5 magazines (2 have extensions). It will come in a soft case (OEM box and grips are not included) and fitted with g10 grips. I am mainly looking for trades on a pistol w/ an optic. I am sort of a fudd and don’t know anything so I am not looking for something fancy. I would love a Glock 49, but am not opposed to other offers preferably full size. It will need to have at least 5 mags. I might also look at an inexpensive AR pistol with a brace and optic with at least (4) 20 or 30 rd mags. Cash Price is 900.00 all in, or 800 plus (7) 1911 mags.
