  1. They did one heck of a job...congratulations. Now that makes a Glock actually interesting.
  2. Welcome to TGO.
  3. A rear Tennessee treasure. RIP.
  4. Welcome to TGO.
  5. Well if you're talking about a breakdown in society I'm going with a 16" barreled AR with lots and lots of mags. May as well put the evil black "assault rifle" through it's paces.
  6. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/06/24/hawaii-becomes-first-state-to-put-gun-owners-in-federal-database.html?intcmp=hpbt3 Hawaii signed a bill Thursday to become the first state to enter gun owners into an FBI database that will automatically notify police if an island resident is arrested anywhere else in the country. Gov. David Ige said in a statement that the legislation is about community safety and responsible gun ownership. He said it will help law enforcement agencies protect Hawaii residents and visitors. State Sen. Will Espero, who introduced the bill, and the Honolulu Police Department said the measure could serve as a model for other states. However, critics believe gun owners shouldn’t have to be entered in a database to practice a constitutional right. Most people entered in the program, known as the “Rap Back” database, are in “positions of trust,” such as school teachers and bus drivers Stephen Fischer of the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services Division said in May. Hawaii is the first to add gun owners. Supporters say the law would make Hawaii a leader in safe gun laws. Allison Anderman, a staff attorney at the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, said the bill was "groundbreaking," and that she hadn't heard of other states introducing similar measures. Yet others say gun owners shouldn't have to be entered in a database to practice a constitutional right. "I don't like the idea of us being entered into a database. It basically tells us that they know where the guns are, they can go grab them" Jerry Ilo, a firearm and hunting instructor for the state, told the Associated Press last month. "We get the feeling that Big Brother is watching us." Read more.
  7. Agreed....they should also never cheat on their taxes, never speed and respect their elders. We all know how that goes. It's also why most people think the 2nd Amendment is useless, outdated and the police and federal government will always care and protect them. We are so freakin' screwed seven ways from Sunday it isn't even funny.
  8. Tell your wife it looks great.....cause it does. Good job.
  9. Pretty sure they aren't gonna like my answers....just sayin'.
  10. It says in the article he didn't lie on the form.
  11. Poplar it a good wood for furniture building among other things. Maybe you know someone that is a carpenter that might want to take a look at it.
  12. http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/06/21/white-house-obama-profoundly-frustrated-ready-executive-action-guns/ White House press secretary Josh Earnest revealed that Obama was “profoundly frustrated” after Senate Republicans again blocked anti-gun legislation. Earnest suggested that the president would again turn to executive authority to try and enact gun control policies on his own. “The president is determined to continue to use his executive authority to do everything possible to keep guns out of the hands of people who shouldn’t have them,” he said. Earnest mocked Republicans as “cowards” who talked tough on terrorism, but were “AWOL” when it came to standing up to gun rights organizations like the National Rifle Association. He also admitted that the president was helpless against the Republican stonewalling of more gun control. “The president is a gifted orator, as they even like to admit themselves. They say that he is pretty persuasive,” Earnest said. “But look, if you’re not going to be persuaded by 49 minute innocent Americans being gunned down in a nightclub, I’m not sure what’s going to convince you.”
  13. They'd never go for that. Right now it's the only way they collect tax money from "terrorists".
  14. Jeebus...the tree hugging, SUV hating, electric car driving, fossil fuel hating, 78 degree thermostat setting nutjobs just can't leave anyone alone can they?
  15. Since I know little about computers or the interwebz I have what may seem as a simple question to some. If this new update was causing problems wouldn't everyone be experiencing them? I use Windows 10 and chrome on an old 4 year old laptop an everything works great here for me. No lag times, no problems navigating or finding anything I want here. So it's not because of my computer prowess that things work so well for me....maybe just dumb luck.
  16. It's harder each passing day to argue with that.
  17. I agree....the left portrays themselves as reasonable...that is until you don't agree with them. Then they will shout you down until they drown out your freedom. Oh and that word academia...it makes me sick. And just so you know...I was being facetious about the post in the first place. Internet humor and sarcasm isn't what it used to be.
  18. Nice lookin' rifle....beautiful work.
  19. It's not. The point is they are in such a hurry to throw away Second Amendment rights I'd like to see how willing they are to throw away their First Amendment rights while they are at it. It might be nice to shut them the hell up for a change.
  20. Why don't they ask if they want to keep guns out of the hands of terrorists at the expense of your First Amendment rights as well as your Second? Of course someone would probably need to explain to the what the First Amendment says so....
  21. Typical leftist views of things. Let's apply their agenda instead of common sense. Who ever is shocked by this raise your hand.
