Well I do like the look of it...just not the price. I'm sure it will sell though.

These two bullets were found after the Battle of Gallipoli which started in 1915 and ended in 1916 during WWI. The allies consisted of British, French, Australia and New Zealand against a fierce Turkish Army. In the end, the allied side lost 46,000 troops while the Turkish lost 65,000, with the Allies retreating from the battle. The Turks still consider their victory at Gallipoli to be a great, defining moment in the nation’s modern history. Eight years later, the Turkish War of Independence broke out, led by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Ataturk was a commander at the battle of Gallipoli. The battle was also Australia and New Zealand’s first military campaign as independent dominions in the British Empire. It was a formative moment in the national consciousness of both countries.

I remember old arguments on gun forums about guns and supporters of a certain weapon would site "the book" and detractors of the weapon would throw pictures of "the book" around like this.

Any people say kids and young adults didn't have more sense in the old days.....

Going to pour a concrete shooting bench tomorrow

It turned out great...that will make a fine bench. Congratulations. -
Seems like most if not all of these jobs have several things in common.....a can do attitude, attention to detail and a devotion of some sort whether it be family, duty or country. Just what I'd expect from a bunch of guys on a gun forum.

Rehab is tough....it really hinders productivity. Take care of yourself and soon you;l be able to pretty much whatever you want within reason. Truth be told it was during rehab I watched darn near every you tube video on knife making and one day I figured "I can do that". My point is you tube can be your friend. Like bushcraft...it's there. Like gold prospecting...it's there. Try it out...search for something that may interest you and before you know it there may be 20 things you're watching on you tube. It's a lot more interesting that TV....at least for me.

Originally from Philly and joined the AF in 68. Two tours in Viet Nam and other stops in Germany, England, Turkey, New Mexico and Arizona (3 times). Retired CMSGT (26 years) from the AF. Then worked for about 20 years as an interior trim carpenter doing everything from crown to custom staircases. Had a heart attack in 08 and received a quad bypass and said the hell with working after that. The missus went back into the AF after 9/11 so we traveled from Montgomery to Tucson until she retired as a SMGT. Came back to Tennessee and mess around with guns and knives and and try to keep up the daily chores around the house.

Thanks guys. -
These are all made from the same blank. Amazing how different you can make the same blade look. Same size....optical illusion I guess with the bottom one being closest to the camera. All are 1095 carbon steel and the blade blank started the same. The OAL is 10' and blade length is 5". The one with the "rock" pattern is a bit heavier in that it's made from 3/16" thick steel. The other two are made from 5/32" thick steel. The IPE handled one with the OD Green and black G10 accents has the handle bobbed in the back a bit to make the look slightly different. They all have thumb jimping and lanyard hoe. From the top the rock pattern has Orange Agate handles with white liners and white and black accents. The middle one has Burmese Blackwood handles red G10 liners and red and white accents. The last one has IPE handles with OD G10 liners and black accents. I did bob the back of the handle a bit to give it a different look. I forgot to add the red/white accented blade had copper/brass and SS mosaic pins...the green and black accented one has SS mosaic pins and the Orange Agate handled one has brass pins.

The current crop of "movie stars" doesn't get me to the movies much anymore. A movie has to be something that should be seen on a big screen and full of action to make me consider going.

Federal Judge blocks CA mag ban.
Grand Torino replied to bubbiesdad's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Well that's exciting....a least it stops law abiding citizens from becoming criminals for a little while longer. I'm sure that's some kind of micro aggression to the left though.
