They usually crane it on a flatbed and haul it to a hangar for inspection and assessment. Then they will either repair it or strip it for parts and scrap the rest. I have seen an A10 belly in once before and actually fly once again. Amazing aircraft.

Yes...a 1956 JC Higgins .22 Single Shot Model 103 I think. My Dad bought it for me for my 7th birthday from Sears & Roebuck.It was and still is an amazingly accurate little rifle.

Left Handed Walnut Burl handles...small but cool mosaic pins and a lanyard hole. It has a bit of jimping and is differentially heat treated to obtain the hamon on the blade.
