In my mind the gubberment "I'm from the government and am here to help" has no stinking business ruling on AR15's period. Will they do something or at least try? Probably....but what happens if a company makes something else that works better the following year and then the next year and so on. AR's are not the problem...never have been. How come kids and and other nutjobs weren't shooting up schools and such in the 70's and 80's? The argument by liberals isn't AR15's...it's guns in general. If their stinking toe jam smelling foot gets in the door then they will go to semi-automatic handguns and all the rest. Say goodbye to Glocks with large mags and others. We will end up like England or Australia. This attack on an AR is only the first step...not the last. People will end up with an old Mosin ,M1 or Lee-Enfield. I don't have anything again those rifles but is that the only choice anyone wants? This has to be fought and never surrendered.....this is serious...to me anyway.

If kids would stay away from all the social media BS and find something constructive to do they might not "think" they have some kind of depression of other sickness. That goes for adults as well. They listen to all these authorities ( movie stars, singers and other internet and you tube sensations)whine and complain about their pitiful lives and blame everyone else and everything under the sun for their so called unhappiness. And of course a pill is recommended as a cure to the joy of big pharma. None of these "authorities" recommend some hard work and changes to behavior to become a productive member of society. Look...I realize there are some truly some sick people out there but there have always been....even since the release of the dreaded AR15. Kids weren't shooting up schools back then.

Resource officers were put in school primarily to keep this kind of stuff from happening or at least minimize the carnage. It does no good to "Protect and Serve" when you fail to do the right thing. This is a prime example of why you can't depend on others for the protection of you and your family. Let me say I am a avid supporter of LE but this is a travesty and while I'm not a lawyer and didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night there has to be something to charge this dipstick with if these reports are true and correct. This individual should not under any circumstances go unpunished if these claims are true. A man has to know his limitations as someone once said and if you can stand by and watch kids being murdered while you are armed and do nothing it says something about a person's grit...or lack of it. And as a disclaimer let me say I am no hero. I'm just an average guy that was raised but parents that taught me right from wrong and have a moral compass because of it. I have put myself in danger more than once to save others cause I instinctively act to the best of my ability. I could never have stood by and did nothing in that situation no matter how scared I might have been.

I have plastic guns and actually like most of them. I also like 1911's....probably cause it's what I was raised on and carried most of my life. Old habits die hard. For me they are still the most accurate and fun to shoot pistols. As far as difficult to maintain I find it not so much if you've been doing it for over 40 years.

Yes there have always been nutjobs but there used to be a bed to put them in...not so much anymore cause well you know...we don't want to place a stigma or embarrass them. Just dope them up and send them out in public to do stupid or even lethal and crazy things. Better living through chemistry my butt.....
