  1. Probably not but it keeps me out of trouble (most of the time) and away from the honey dew list. I may have come up with a way to make it even cheaper...just finalizing things in that area.
  2. We are as prepared as we can be and have been in this mode since the late 90's. I expect it will get even worse than it is now. We live out in the country with like minded neighbors so there is that. I think there will be a problem with supply of goods as well. I don't think there will be a riot problem out here but if goods and services are disrupted that could make it a whole new ballgame. I'm disgusted with half the people in this country and have more compassion for my dogs and treat them better than some scumbag that will try to take our stuff that we have worked so hard for. They say most countries only last a few hundred years and it breaks my heart to think we've fallen so fast since the greatest generation to the weak kneed fools of today.
  3. Welcome aboard Vic!!!
  4. I'm so sorry brother. I've been there and it's tough. Told myself I'd never have another and now I have three. I'm 71 and afraid I'll still have to go through it again..... best wishes to you.
  5. That looks great! And yes...sometimes it gets really tedious. That's what's great for me as far as doing it as a hobby. I can just walk away. I'm trying to live a stress free life.
  6. I'm currently working on getting a couple blanks laser cut (basic shape) which will cut the man hours down considerably and in turn cut cost. If it works out I'll let you all know. The blanks will still need to be ground, sanded and finished but the time saved would be worth it.
  7. I don't know...it's based on a trench knife and not technically brass knuckles so.....
  8. My take of a 1918 trench knife. It took me weeks off and on. No CNC or waterjet machines here....just my normal tools and lots of patience. All 1084 steel with antiqued hickory handles. The pins are SS but I did that purposely for contrast. It went to a businessman in Texas. He's bought several of my knives over the years.
  9. Glad you guys are feeling better and I'm so sorry for those that have lost friends and loved ones. I was supposed to go to the doc on Tuesday but after hearing for the umteenth time about someone probably getting it in a Doc's office I'm not going. I've spent all these months avoiding it so there is no sense pushing my luck.
  10. Praying for the best for her. What a damn mess this crap is.
  11. If I have to go out in public I'll wear one. It's my choice. What I do resent is all the armchair doctors acting like they know everything when it comes down to wearing one or not as well as being told I must. I'm old, have underlying heath issues as well as my wife. Even the health "professionals" can't agree and have in fact lied to the public so who knows for sure what's real or what's not? I don't advocate shutting things down cause if I were young I'd rather be working and taking precautions than sitting on my ass on the dole collecting government cheese. Since I'm old with underlying issues I choose to stay at home as much as possible. It's not like I'm bored at home with nothing to do. There is always more to do than I like.
  12. These are headed to a couple of fine LEO's.... and second....
  13. Man that is a Beautiful sheath!!!!
  14. I've got one....picked mine up in 1979. Enjoy!
  15. I remember it all....as a kid growing up in the 50's we had a store much like that not 2 miles from our house. I loved that place. Old Mr Timmons was always good for a piece of hard candy from the big jar on the counter. And yes...my first car had a suicide knob on it.
  16. I've always said it's not easy being me but it seems to be getting a bit harder lately.
