Well this is my last Bowie till the fall at the earliest. Custom leather from 1911alltheway here on the forum. It's 1/4" thick 9CR13CoMoV stainless steel. The handle pommel and the rest are made from the same type steel. This is basically 440 stainless with extra cobalt added for strength. It has an OAL of nearly 17" with blade measuring 11" cutting edge 10". It is a true flat ground blade with a satin finish. It has a hardness of 59-60. Professionally heat treated. The handle is rosewood with custom carving.

1/4" thick 1084 carbon steel. OAL 15 1/2" and Blade length of 10". D handle is made from 5/32" thick 1084 carbon steel. Handle is made from ash I antiqued and added grip portion. Brass accent, copper on spine and pommel were also antiqued for the aged look. . Even the copper rivets are home made. Sheath is custom order from( 1911alltheway) here on the forum. It is spectacular and made to match the knife perfectly. There will not be a repeat of this knife anytime soon. I'm buried to my eyeballs in home maintenance projects and the missus goes in for surgery this early summer that requires a long recovery time and requires my attention. So there will be few offering this summer.

To those waiting for a Bowie I have two at the sheath maker (1911alltheway) now working his magic. These are probably the two nicest Bowies I've made to date. One is a first for me....completely stainless. As to when the a ready it's up to him as he is awaiting parts. Not only is there a shortage of paper products, meat and poultry but leather goods as well. Who knew?
