Trump gets to appoint another Supreme Court Justice
Grand Torino replied to DaveTN's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
No...the politicians on both sides of the aisle suck and that goes without saying. The difference I see is socialists have no problem inciting violence, slander etc to achieve their goals. And I'm pretty sure you may be the only one that thinks getting the next justice appointed won't be a problem. -
Trump gets to appoint another Supreme Court Justice
Grand Torino replied to DaveTN's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I honestly see this nomination held up for months if not longer. The left will do everything they can to keep a conservative out. And honestly riots in the streets incited by elected officials seems to not be out of the question. If these morons want to disrupt people from eating a quiet dinner what do you think they will do about this. I mean after all...they just selected a Socialist over a guy who was poised to take over the reins from Pelosi. http://insider.foxnews.com/2018/06/27/alexandria-ocasio-cortez-defeats-joe-crowley-five-reacts-upset-top-democrat-pelosi -
Good luck...deep pockets can fix most anything.

Diversity and Inclusion in the 2A Community

https://www.commdiginews.com/politics-2/millennials-understand-constitution-they-dont-care-65322/ One of the most troubling trends that this age group is currently dealing with is the idea that a guy like Bernie Sanders, who once boasted that no one deserves to make more than a million dollars and routinely defends communism, somehow has a legitimate case to be president of the United States. Why could that be? What in the world could be driving all these impressionable young minds to believe in policies that are not only destructive but are completely antithetical to the foundation of the country and what makes it great in the first place? Well, it’s actually quite simple. There have been a million articles out there about how millennials are uninformed as a result of not paying attention or not caring. In fact, it is more likely that millennials know what makes America great and just don’t care. A Pew poll says that 40 percent of young people apparently think that the First Amendment, one of the most important if not the most important pillars of our freedom, should not apply to speech that minorities might find offensive. This clearly implies that young people are familiar with freedom of speech, they know it’s a part of the fiber our country, they just don’t care. Feelings are more important, which leads to the obvious conclusion that feelings have the power to trump any aspect of the Constitution, which is of course extremely troubling. The last poll doesn’t have anything to do with the Constitution and the idea of changing our founding document in order to not hurt anyone’s feelings, but it speaks volumes about the mental fortitude of the millennial crowd. According to a poll taken this past January, 10 percent of college grads (yes, graduated from college) believe that Judge Judy is a Supreme Court Justice. Just let that sink in for a few moments. Young people today believe that socialism is cool, our founding document should be altered in order to not hurt anyone’s feelings and that a television star is a member of the most powerful governing body in the land. If that doesn’t sound a deafening alarm in your head, then I don’t know what will. -
Printing Doesn't Matter - Until It Does
Grand Torino replied to TGO David's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I feel exactly the same way. I'm not anti-social....well maybe a little...but my circle of friends has dwindled by choice over the years from a group of friends to a select few very good friends....actual people that can count on each other. The older I get the less time or energy I have to deal with the politically correct soy boy mentality the better. After all...I'm trying to lead a stress free life. My two dogs make me laugh every single day. And while I appreciate the right to carry either open or concealed I feel it's no ones business if I'm carrying or not so I do go the extra mile to keep it that way. -

Sierra Bullets has been acquired by Clarus Corporation (NASDAQ: CLAR) for the sum of $79,000,000, “subject to a post-closing working capital adjustment”. Sierra is one of the world’s leading producers of bullets for hunters, sportsmen, and target shooters. With revenues topping $30,000,000 per year, Sierra has long been a major force in the firearms world. Clarus, formerly Black Diamond Inc., is a Utah-based holding company which “seeks opportunities to acquire and grow businesses that can generate attractive shareholder returns”. Clarus also owns Black Diamond Equipment, Ltd., maker of outdoor equipment/clothing for the climbing, skiing and mountain sports markets. http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/2017/08/sierra-bullets-being-acquired-by-clarus-corporation/

No it's a satin finish...it's just shadows from my pathetic picture taking. And thanks! -
It's not about guns...it's about control and dependency on the state. To liberals it feels good to declare a college a “gun-free zone.” Does it do good? Of course not. It does the opposite. It informs would-be murderers that no one will shoot them. Calling for more gun laws enables liberals to feel good about themselves; it makes the Right look bad; and it increases government control over the citizenry. A liberal trifecta. Are federal background checks a good idea? The idea sounds perfectly reasonable. But unless they would have prevented any of the recent mass shootings, they are of no help. So, then, short of universal confiscation, which is both practically and constitutionally impossible, what will do good? What will reduce gun violence? One thing that would make incomparably more difference than gun laws in reducing gun violence is more fathers. Why aren’t liberals as passionate about policies that ensure that millions more men father their children as they are about gun laws? Because such thinking is anathema to the Left. The Left works diligently to keep single mothers dependent on the state (and therefore on the Democratic party). And emphasizing a lack of fathers means human behavior is more to blame than guns.

That's a beauty....nice score.
