  1. Well that's right purdy!
  2. Welcome to TN and TGO!!!
  3. I do this as a hobby...not a you tuber. I don't say this in a derogatory manner but recording takes equipment and time. I have little to none of both. I try to sell my knives at the best possible price and since I've never been big on taping/recording, photography anyway if I bought decent stuff the knife customer would pay for it. I'm trying to keep costs to a minimum and pass the savings on.
  4. 512 layers.....I call it a random twist.
  5. Welcome to TGO and Tennessee!!!
  6. The pros say Sambar Stag from India is the best. Harder, less brittle, less pith and the best color of all. I tend to believe it. For years there was an export ban by India and the deer population was threatened due to... With proper management the export ban has finally been lifted I'm told.
  7. To give you an idea of the cost of this just the Sambar Stag for the handles cost $160 before shipping. The custom leather/Caiman sheath was made by one of our own on the forum....1911alltheway.
  8. Well good cause that's exactly what it is.
  9. Welcome to TGO!
  10. Sorry but this was sold from the get go. There was no option of showing it to anyone for sale as it was taken.
  11. 11 1/2" OAL beauty with a false edge and hollow grind. The blade is right at 6" long. it has over 500 layers to achieve it's look. It's about 3/16" thick at the spine. The handles are new product from Voodoo Resins. They have this unique look with the added aluminum mesh added into the blade. Very cool and different. It has SS pins and lanyard tube and comes with the combo kydex/leather sheath shown.
  12. I have a couple nearly ready. Get your checkbook ready cause the price is excellent and they are real lookers.
  13. I started with red dots (Leupold RMR) in 2012 and I do exactly as you do. My eye sight was going down hill and once I adapted to the RMR I found my on target shooting is very respectable. I constantly hit what I'm aiming at regardless if it's 7 yards of 25 yards. Of course my groups aren't that of a guy like Tony of probably even yours but I'm confident it's darn good enough to protect myself and do a little damage to the bad guy.

  16. It's made from 5/32" thick 1084 carbon steel. I did a hollow grind on this one. OAL is 9 3/4" and a blade length of 4 1/2". It has a black oxide finish to add patina and aid against corrosion. The handles are spalted elm with Padauk and black G10 liners. The pins and lanyard tube are brass. The combo kydex/leather sheath shown comes with it.
