  1. Most gun stores already have video cameras in place. Hell anymore, most stores in general have video surveillance!
  2. Total length is just over 10" with a blade length of about 5 1/2".
  3. Lots of elbow grease and lots of patience. ;) Since it's a hobby I can't afford one of those fancy $2500 grinders with all of those attachments. If I had one of those I could cut the production time down to practically nothing.
  4. The rod is part of the simple jig and allows it to follow the preset angle.
  5. I have a border collie....her name is Maggie. Smartest damn dog in the world as far as I'm concerned. We have taught her most anything you can teach a dog and she picked it up lickity split. :pleased: As you can see she has that motherly instinct.
  6. I hear a pack of them howling nearly every evening down back behind my place. I do live out in the sticks a bit and I know for a fact there's deer everywhere back there so.....  I have seen two foxes out in the tree line behind my house in the last couple of weeks. They are very healthy looking critters.
  7. The blade is about  4" and overall length is a tad over 8".
  8. Thanks so much for all the kind words everyone.
  9. It's acid dipped and stone washed 1084 carbon steel professionally heated treat to 59-60RC. I also gave it the flame accent at the blade edge and added a "cave man" look at the top and sides of the spine and has jimping on the spine as well. It has green canvas micarta scales with yellow G10 liners with stainless corby fasteners and a stainless lanyard hole.
  10. I use the New Jersey Steel Baron.....excellent products and services shipped right to your door.
  11. Some peoples kids....
  12. Tell me they aren't all for the same gun.
  13. That is cool as hell. Somebody did a good job raising that young lady.
  14. Anything is possible. I haven't had any problems with them.......yet.
  15. It's made from 1084 carbon steel 5/32" thick. Total length is just over 10" with a blade length of about 5 1/2". It's a big knife with indigo blue dymondwood for scales and stainless steel pins and lanyard hole. The spine has file work from the handle to about 1 1/2" from the point. As you can see it is a drop point design. I acid etched this blade except for the edge which I protected and also gave it a bit of a design. This knife turned out terrific...it's one of my favorites. The handle is made for a big hand. It's thick but nicely contoured to fit the hand. I'll be making more of this blade design in the future. It's of good size and the shape lends itself to many different design opportunities.
  16. Talk about some bad mojo......
  17. You did a hellofa job. I need to start making sheaths for my knives. Where did you get your supplies if you don't mind me asking?
  18. Jimping is for added grip while IMHO file work is for show.
  19. This would be a skinner/camp knife I guess. It's made from 1/8" 1095 carbon steel. The overall length is 9" with the blade itself being about 4". It has a RC of 59. It has jimping and a bit of filework on the spine and brown micarta scales accented with with G10 and white G10 liners. It has brass pins and a large brass lanyard hole.
  20. Esee makes a good knife....good luck and enjoy it.
