  1. It's acid dipped and stone washed 1084 carbon steel professionally heated treat to 59-60RC. I also gave it the flame accent at the blade edge and added a "cave man" look at the top and sides of the spine and has jimping on the spine as well. It has green canvas micarta scales with yellow G10 liners with stainless corby fasteners and a stainless lanyard hole.
  2. I use the New Jersey Steel Baron.....excellent products and services shipped right to your door.
  3. Some peoples kids....
  4. Tell me they aren't all for the same gun.
  5. That is cool as hell. Somebody did a good job raising that young lady.
  6. Anything is possible. I haven't had any problems with them.......yet.
  7. It's made from 1084 carbon steel 5/32" thick. Total length is just over 10" with a blade length of about 5 1/2". It's a big knife with indigo blue dymondwood for scales and stainless steel pins and lanyard hole. The spine has file work from the handle to about 1 1/2" from the point. As you can see it is a drop point design. I acid etched this blade except for the edge which I protected and also gave it a bit of a design. This knife turned out terrific...it's one of my favorites. The handle is made for a big hand. It's thick but nicely contoured to fit the hand. I'll be making more of this blade design in the future. It's of good size and the shape lends itself to many different design opportunities.
  8. Talk about some bad mojo......
  9. You did a hellofa job. I need to start making sheaths for my knives. Where did you get your supplies if you don't mind me asking?
  10. Jimping is for added grip while IMHO file work is for show.
  11. This would be a skinner/camp knife I guess. It's made from 1/8" 1095 carbon steel. The overall length is 9" with the blade itself being about 4". It has a RC of 59. It has jimping and a bit of filework on the spine and brown micarta scales accented with with G10 and white G10 liners. It has brass pins and a large brass lanyard hole.
  12. Esee makes a good knife....good luck and enjoy it.
  13. I'd like to find a guy like that myself. I'm going to keep an eye on this thread.
  14. My wife keeps me busy with the honeydew list but when I have the time it's making knives and woodworking.. When I was younger it was motorcycles and muscle cars but I can't afford to do that anymore. :(
  15. I spent 26 years in the military. I've never understood that logic.
  16. :P  I'll try.....honestly I never thought they'd sell so fast. Thanks for the compliments.
  17. Thanks for the kind words everyone.
  18. It is just a hobby but yes I do sell them. This knife as well as the other two from a couple weeks ago are sold however.
  19. Another bush knife with acid etch and stone washed 1084 steel 3/16" thick. It has brown micarta scales with brass pins and lanyard hole. It also has orange liners and a little jimping and file work on the spine.
  20. The wife has one in 9mm and she seems to love the darn thing. It is a good shooter, reliable and to top it off she's a pretty damn good shot with it. :pleased:
  21. A lot of talent there.....not sure if it's 9K worth or not but....
  22. Sorry my friend...they are both sold already. Maybe next time.
