1. I haven't lost any....yet. But I'm 65 now  so I reckon the chances are getting better. :P
2. Cool....how 'bout that?
3. Hooooly crap.  That's borderline insane.....but really a cool video. Thanks for posting.
4. I lived in Phoenix AZ back in the early 80's. One night I was pulling up to the drive thru to order some stuff at Jack in the Box.....while it was being robbed at gun point. Long story short...shots were fired....my truck was hit and I took that as a warning to get my butt armed. I've been armed whenever possible ever since.
5. Good job....I get confused just looking at it. I'm interested in seeing your sheath as well.
6. MSN? I didn't realize they still existed.
7. I'm kinda like that too. In the shop I sometimes curse worse than a sailor but in company of others I rarely if ever do. I can't really explain it.  And like you while I find the cursing of kids unneeded and immature the behavior of them for the most part is inexcusable......particularly when I  hear them doing it to their own parents. I can't imagine that happening and them getting away with it 25 years ago.
8. I'd have never thought of doing something like that. Good job.
9. Yeah baby.....that looks great.
10. Oh......well in that case I've got nothing to worry about. :D
11. I'm sure Obamacare will handle it....
12. And it can be yours...
13. The feds and a lot of states never should have gotten involved with this crap in the first place. Patient confidentiality used to mean something but unfortunately not anymore. The bullshit questions I've heard some doctors ask their patients is just insulting and for the most part none of their business. Ahhh....but Obama care to the rescue....what a steaming pile of  :poop:
14. This is a Wharncliffe style knife made from 1/8" thick 1095 carbon steel. This blade is 4" lond and the overall length is 8 1/4". It has been professionally heat treated to 59-60 RC. As you can see it has jimping along the spine and has red linen micarta handles with white G10 liners held on with corby bolts and epoxy as well. It has been double etched...the design is actually textured or raised on the steel. It includes a .08 kydex sheath with belt loop. If you would like to own this knife just send me a PM and we will see if we can work something out. ;)
15. I added a belt loop made out of .08 kydex today.
16. I added a little belt loop to this sheath made from .08 kydex and some black cordura fabric. I liked the fabric cause on a larger knife it lets it hang down naturally at your side. This knife and sheath need to go.... Help find a good home for this. It can be used for either left or right hand carry. 17. Well buy yourself something for Christmas then.
18. Thanks for all the compliments men.
19. Holy crap...... I've never seen so many 1911's in one place. Nice collection.
20. Welcome aboard.
21. I wish I could learn to do that but I'm afraid that's hopeless.  You did one helluva job...it looks great.
22. I wish I could figure out paracord wraps....for some reason they are beyond my comprehension.  I find it easier to put on a set of scales. :P  You did a real nice refurbish on a tired old blade. It looks good....congratulations.
23. Agreed......however I'm pretty sure the Feds will change her mind. They have their ways.....
24. This is what I'd call a modified Wharncliffe as far as shape. As you can see I made the blade edge round back up to the point instead of leaving the blade edge straight. It's a beefy blade for being on the small side made from 5/32" thick 1095 carbon steel professionally heat treated to 59-60RC. While not what I'd call a mirror finish you can see in some of the pictures a distinct reflection in the blade. I finished it down to 400 grit so it's pretty slick. The scales are stabilized mineral stained Afzelia Xylay sanded to 1000 grit and oiled with Scandinavian tung oil. They came out pretty sweet. They are mechanically fastened with JP Bolts as well as epoxied. The blade is about 3 1/2" long and the overall length is right at 8 1/4". It has some nice jimping along the spine of the blade from the back to around 2" past the front of the scales. This knife took quite a while to make since I only had a rough plan when I started and it kind of matured as I went along. It really deserves a leather sheath but since I'm not a sheath maker it got a kydex one. The sheath it made from .08 thick kydex so it's stout and the holes are laid out for a small tec-lock. The mounting holes are 1" apart. The small tec-lock is not included. This knife with sheath is for sale. If you are serious about purchasing this blade send me a PM and I'll fill you in with the details.
25. Daaaamn Spots........what a knife. I gotta believe it take three men and a boy to tote that thing around all day.  Beautiful job as always.
