1. My wife says I'm very personable and charming.... http://youtu.be/f9Tpw1ICJEc
2. Biden is an idiot. I'm convinced Obozo picked him to make himself look good. Unfortunately for him the latter never materialized.
3. CC I think with a pistola and shotty. Not so much with a rifle lately. I've spent so much time getting proficient with those I've neglected the rifles for months and months. Maybe if it ever warms up.......
4. You sir are a man of my own heart.
5. Just one thing.....I never read or hear about collies, labs, and (fill in the blank) mauling and killing people. I'm sure it happens....rarely. It's always pit bulls and more often than not it's their owners that pay the price...the ones that keep telling everyone how wonderful they are. So whatever...adults make their own decisions and as long as they keep them in their homes or yards I don't really care. Pits have a reputation for a reason...it's not just dreamed or made up.   I've owned a dog most all my life but would never consider a  Pit in a million years. That's just me maybe....but it's my decision and no one else's.
6. Glad you like it. After making the first one of these I figured I'd never make another one. Well I've made 4 so far and have two more to make.
7. Welcome aboard.
8. And there you have it....although it seems you hear about a shooting or two damn near every night in Nashville as well.
9. Wait until you see the one I'm making right now.
10. The religion of peace........my ass.
11. Welcome aboard
12. Thanks. I wish I started 25 years ago. I'm sure I'd be making first class knives and someone would have been bound to have heard of me. Oh well.......it's something I really enjoy doing and it does make a great hobby.
13. What a sweet lookin' pup.
14. Surely he has a really good explanation for that. Well probably not.
15. I think the way you use your truck really drives what kind/type cover you get. I've had the Undercover SE for about 6 years and it still looks like new. One the rare occasion I needed it off to carry something large the missus and I can take it off in 5 minutes....and neither of us are spring chickens. :P
16. Thanks for the kind words guys. :)
17. This is my 3 year old border collie Sophie. She's so smart it's scary and a very loving dog. She's also a real ham....
18. Now hat's impressive.
19. Not that fast actually. What happens is I cut out, shape and do the initial grind on the bevel. I also add jimping and rough fit whatever scales I'm going to use. Then I send them off to be professionally heat treated. That usually takes 2-3 weeks. Once I get them back I do the finish grind, sand the steel and finish the scales. Then I acid dip them, sharpen them and install the scales. I wish it was as simple or as quick as I've described but all this work takes time. Top this with the fact I do this as a hobby so I rarely put a full 8 hours a day into them. Most of the time I work 3-4 hours and just say screw it and pack it in for the day. :P And I have to work this hobby in between daily chores, the honeydew list, home improvements and the occasional day where I just say screw it and do something else like go shootin'. So what happens is I finish 2-3 knives in a few days then take another few weeks before I get to that point once again.
20. This one is around 11" OAL with a blade right around 5 7/8". It's made from 3/16" thick 1095 carbon steel professionally heat treated to a RC of 60. The scales are a combination of black G10 and OD G10 with grey liners. It has an unsharpened swedge or false edge. This knife has great ergonomics and fits very well in a mans hand. It also has jimping along the spine just forward of the scales. Like the last one is also has a stone washed finish. I've applied mineral oil to the knife and haven't wiped it all off yet. That's why it's so shiny.
