Not that fast actually. :lol: What happens is I cut out, shape and do the initial grind on the bevel. I also add jimping and rough fit whatever scales I'm going to use. Then I send them off to be professionally heat treated. That usually takes 2-3 weeks. Once I get them back I do the finish grind, sand the steel and finish the scales. Then I acid dip them, sharpen them and install the scales. I wish it was as simple or as quick as I've described but all this work takes time. Top this with the fact I do this as a hobby so I rarely put a full 8 hours a day into them. Most of the time I work 3-4 hours and just say screw it and pack it in for the day. :P And I have to work this hobby in between daily chores, the honeydew list, home improvements and the occasional day where I just say screw it and do something else like go shootin'.
So what happens is I finish 2-3 knives in a few days then take another few weeks before I get to that point once again.
