I do have a backup plan for bugging out but only as a last resort. The only reason for that is his place is more remote and much more easily defendable but I to have no immediate plans on leaving my home.

Apparently people will pay stupid kinds of money for most anything.

A bunch of losers like their fathers and father's fathers.

Whatever they were it just pisses me off when a bunch of yahoos can't even get the address right before they go beating on someone's door. You see this time and time again. People get injured or worse when completely innocent people get overwhelmed by people that can't figure out what door they should be banging on. I'm glad it turned out okay in your case.

I've had a Spyderco Resilience for what seems forever. It's been a good knife. I have no complaints about it.

The only place where me might differ on this opinion is I'm not convinced there are any intelligent teachers  with a lick of common sense left in the public school system. Wrong is wrong and for this lad to be sent home/punished for something like this tells me there is nobody in that school with any intestinal fortitude to do the right thing.

Take care of yourself now while you're young. It gets more difficult the older you get. Do like me and try to live a stress free life.

I like my Shield just fine. Glock won't be getting any of my money for something they should have come out with years ago.....just sayin'.

Nice idea but they gotta figure out how to get the price down.....way down. Like Dolomite pointed out there are other options.
