Not any experience with para. Will have to do some reading. Been thinking about a double stack for awhile. Yeah the larger grip would be the down side for a carry. I do have a Remington 1911 R1 gov. and I like it a lot. Runs as should and has a smooth trigger. Thanks for the input. When you get old you just sit and think about all the guns you don't have....LOL

I have been reading that Remington has issued a double stack 1911. Even has it on their web site. All I can find out it's coming to a dealer near you. What are your thoughts on it? Not so much a carry piece but home defense or range gun. I think I may have to pull the trigger. Hehe

I have like most of you have seen and read most of these stories. I'm not saying if they're true or not but I do have one question that I can't find an answer to. ...........How the hell did they get the grassy mound out of that room so fast.
