I like mine pretty well. I got it about two months ago and have only about 150 rounds through it. The 22/45 IMO NEEDS the bushing mod. It may just be mine but those magazines just do not drop out. They "eject" maybe 1/2" and have to be manually pulled after that. My regular mkiii does not have that issue so I'm assuming its more of a 22/45 problem, though that may not be the case. Mine was also acting up a bit with subsonic ammo through a can, that maybe an ammo issue or can issue though. A deep cleaning will probably not hurt as I did only a cursory wipe down when I bought it. If you haven't had one or a mkii or mkiii, they're a bit tricky to take down. The first time you do it you'll be wishing for your Sigs back, then comes the swear words and the mallet. Once you get it back together you'll swear you'll never take it down again. The good news is you may never have to.

PM sent! Glad I'm not the only one who snoozed through the announcement. :D

It came down pretty good for a while in east Nashville. It wasn't quite cold enough to stick, but it was there. Light hail at 6-6:30PM too.

I love it. I really like the way it was framed out for us too. Not having to read everyone's replies sure saved time, I liked being able to just sit and read as the bullscat unfolded. I really liked the way the moderator locked it down at the end too. A humorous ending for a hilarious saga.

Erp, I was wrong.

A promise to buy something is only as strong as the honesty in the representation of the item.

Philadelphia first U.S. city to ban 3D printed guns

Philadelphia: who gives a shit? -
Ok, I just learned more in a 47 second video than I had grocked after about an hour and a half of off and on reading on the subject. That machine ^ up there in the video looks like Exactly what I think I want. I'm going to do now what I should have started off doing, checking out some YouTube. Thanks guys for all the help thus far. You all make learning fun. :)

Any reason in particular or is it just a pile?

I looked at that one too. I like the price, and it seems so simple it would seem impossible for anything to really wear out. My only reason to want to spend more on the other unit is because I'd really like to maximize my time behind a press. If making ammo where something I think I'd be comfortable doing while watching TV or multi tasking or something, I wouldn't mind taking a bit more time and using a single stage press. But since I think I'd want to devote my attention more on what I'm doing, I'd like to make the most of the limited time I can dedicate to a new hobby. Does that make sense? I'm thinking that the one I linked would safe me quite a bit of time over the other, correct?

I think I could live with that, I don't want to "speed through" reloading, especially when I first start, but something to help take up some of the time would be nice. Do you or anyone know if the charging part can be done manually and have the unit seat, crimp, prime etc. still in one pull, or are the steps such that it wouldn't be possible. Even if its a bit inconvenient to do so for individually measured rounds that would be ok as I'd most likely be using this primary to cut down costs on and open up another avenue for range ammo. It would be cool to dial in some loads, but I'd be okay if 1/3 or maybe even less where super accurate performance loads. I just miss the days of not cringing every time I load a magazine.

That's exactly right Lester, unfortunately its the tax paying public winning the stupid prizes for our governments stupid games.

As happy as it would make me to know that Delbert Belton has been avenged, this is not the way to do it. I didn't know the man so I may be way off base here but I know if I were viciously beaten to death I would not want revenge, I would want justice. Not street justice, not Aryan Brotherhood justice, real, American Justice. Try them, let them have their day, then quickly and rapidly dispatch them with a brick to the head. I guess I won't lose any tears for them either way but I for one don't want to be associated with the kind of behavior that would put me a step closer to being on their level. IMO.

About this, http://www.midwayusa.com/product/347040/lee-pro-1000-progressive-press-kit-223-remington ??? I'm looking to start reloading and this sounds like the reloading kit for dummies. I'm ok with maybe not going as fast as some setups, but it looks like this will go a long way tword getting me setup for 223. I like the idea of a measure by volume as opposed to weight, seems easier? Hopefully I can grab some bullets, powder, cases, a reloading manual, and get to cooking, yes, no?

Beautifully said Robert, thank you.

A couple of guns I saw for sale some people have been mentioning
TrickyNicky replied to a topic in General Chat
That sound pretty cool, went to a cash America once and don't recall it even having guns. Of course, that was in middle Tn, back in 07ish and I had gone to a few shops that day looking for guitars. Glad you found at least one place with a good layaway plan, I'd be curious to see if they will let you use your C&R license as I think most shops have an issue with that? Maybe someone here who works at one knows if its just a liability thing or what on that? -
I'm sure most ma and pa shop owners have historically had better things to do at 4:30am the day after thanksgiving. Those days are changing though.

Anyone tried one yet? Walmarts got a heck of a good price on them and I'm wanting a decent (great for the price) scope to go on my new 20" AR. The literature says it can "accurately place rounds in target to 600yards" which is the farthest I would take it. Honestly I'd be shooting more often at 100 yards but want the optics capabilities to far exceed that. I know many people opt for a fixed 4x magnification, and I'm sure many people will recommend 3-12 magnification but I don't know, 4.5 may be a bit strong under 100 but not unreasonable I think. The reason I like the bushnell is it has a magnification that I feel would work for what I want, it has a list of features that all sound nifty, even if I have little or no idea what they are or how to use them, plus the price is about inline with what I want to spend. So, any thoughts one way or the other? I'd happily entertain other suggestions, concerns etc. Also, can anyone recommend some good reading for a guy trying to familiarize himself better with scopes? I can spend hours on the google, but Id rather ask here as I know if I get a recommendation to read something from one of you all, it will be time well spent. I have a pretty basic knowledge, but I get lost once paralex(sp?) holdover, or even pretty much anything beyond turret, crosshairs, or lenses get brought up. Thanks guy!

Thug down! of the knockout game variety
TrickyNicky replied to Sam1's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I just hope the kid takes the year in jail as a life lesson and straightens up his act. He's young enough that he'll either leave a hardened criminal or maybe just maybe a decent young man with a not so decent past and a good future. Here's to hoping anyway.
