Looking at the pictures reminded me of watching a funeral on the Sopranos with everyone laughing and joking around or talking shop while the family sits there and grieves. It's the channels/times you watch. If you want to see commercials for toys and kid stuff you have to watch channels/times that advertisers associate with children. Them add men are pretty good at what they do. As to the economy and people buying diamonds and cars for Christmas, its important to remember that that the economy hits everyone but what that hit means is highly individual to each person. There may be people who took a 50% pay cut this year who can buy all the cars and diamonds they want. After all, 50% of $10,000,000.00 is still $5,000,000.00 ;) Ah how the other half live.

For their other uppers it seems about 2-3 week lead before they ship. If they have to build it it will likely be another week or so.

Omaha has a few real retail locations but its best to just order them directly from them IMO. Believe it or not bootleg OS is a big problem for them. I don't know how they get the boxes but beware anyone driving around selling them out of a freezer truck or anyone claiming to be a door to door employee who "has to sell the last if his steaks, even 'at cost' or he'll have to pay for them himself". BS. The real company would never employee sleazy tactics like that OR the shady kind if people that always seem to be "working" for them.

I used to work at an Omaha steaks retail store and testify from an internal point of view that they are an absolutely awesome company. The steaks are great, in fact their whole catalog is great. Just an FYI, they use liquid nitrogen to quickly flash freeze their stuff for optimal taste and consistency. When you thaw them out, use cold water instead of hot or warm. It takes a few additional minutes (5-10) but it keeps the juices from flowing prematurely which helps keep them in the meat instead of losing a lot in the bottom of the bag. They usually have good gift basket options this time of year, their hot dogs, hamburgers, etc. are all also really good. Their rubs are as good as Ive found store bought as well.

Order placed with amazon last night. I got an update some of my items may not be delivered until AFTER Dec25th. If course all the estimates delivery dates are for the next few days though so who knows? Anyway, if you haven't received a gift by Xmas, contact MacGyver and if your my recipient, hopefully no harm no foul for being a few days late. Of course I could send the package out without the Items coming in and send those later if it came down to it. It would just be a sparse first package is all.

I'm gonna take his word for it. Guys got 40+lb über duty bench gun and does some pretty crazy long range shooting from what it looks like. It's possible that he's got the same or more into one barrel than I have in two ARs. With that in mind... Now for the rest of us, probably not a big deal. ;) I don't know why I've resisted bore snakes this long. I'm using the Otis pull through the breach system now so I'm already half way there I guess? Maybe I'll grab some after the holidays.
