Milk and bread folks, milk and bread!!!!!!!
TrickyNicky replied to gregintenn's topic in General Chat
The better end of the stick goes to you sir. -
Off topic but love the avatar. Reading your name even reads a bit in my mind as "sh;ttytriggerfinger" but don't call him that, he hates it. Call him sh;tty.

New Buffer Tube for Sig "Brace"
TrickyNicky replied to mcordell's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
How would one go about getting an approval letter of their own for a similar homemade device? It's peaking my interest but I just can't see spending that kind of money on what I bet I could cobble up for <$50 at the home depot, medical supply store and Brownells. Especially when Sigs letter isn't even Sigs lettter... Would I have to build the unit and then send it in or just give them an idea of what I'm building? -
Also thinks its cool when Hipower puts his sunglasses on and goes around saying "I'll be back" Wishes he had thought of it first.

Milk and bread folks, milk and bread!!!!!!!
TrickyNicky replied to gregintenn's topic in General Chat
As discussed in another thread, even if all the knuckleheads cleared it all out already, there are trucks loaded up and on their way to your local Walmart now full of bread, milk, bullets, socks, TVs, hats, guns, baby needs etc. You'll be good to go shortly. :) -
Why couldnt I discover World Market when I drank Beer?
TrickyNicky replied to a topic in General Chat
Mmmmm, Moxie. It reminds me almost of a nonalcoholic, carbonated Campari. I like some of the novelty beers and sodas but as others mentioned its just too expensive for everyday. They do I think carry the worlds best ever ginger ale Bruce Cost I think its called. Stuff is awesome, unfiltered and delicious. -
Can't stand to see a grown man cry. Therefore avoids mirrors at any cost.

Double tap.

I'd agree to that, responsibility IMO lies solely with people. In this case the chowder headed monkeydick who left something like that where a kid could grab it. I won't pass judgment on the mother, it doesn't look like she was negligent beyond letting her two year old eat a cookie off the street. For whatever that's worth. 100% accurate on all points. Well said as well. My point was not meant to compare the legalities of pot/gun control, but rather the mentality that some people have where it's ok to shield inanimate objects from blame when they approve of them but not when they don't. At the end of the day we are to blame for our own actions, each one if us. As to the matter of pot control itself, I think the government and busy bodies have blown the whole thing out of proportion. The war on drugs as a whole makes about as much sense as prohibition.

Had she found a gun and shot herself we would call it a tragedy and go on to say that the gun, an inanimate object, is blameless. Had she found and taken a prescription narcotic and died, it would have been a tragedy but again, you can't blame an inanimate object for the folly of man right? She found a pot cookie, got sick and here we are. The inanimate object is bad. I don't get it? Seems like rank hypocrisy to me, but what do I know, I'm from California.

Cosby speaks some common sense...
TrickyNicky replied to thundersnow's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Dr. Cosby leans pretty left politically and is NO friend of the gun owner. Having said that I love his comedy, and do think he is a very intelligent man regardless of his stance on guns. He surely has the right of the situation here IMO. But yeah, I'd say its a safe bet he voted for O. -
Sooo much fail.

Getting real close :) Have you started buying tools yet?

Bonnie Parker's Colt to be auctioned off in Knoxville
TrickyNicky replied to Erik88's topic in General Chat
If they didn't find it until they stripped the body for embalming then I don't think I wanna know WHERE exactly under her skirts it was hidden. Though I do have an idea... Or two. :p -
From my son, Marine Sgt, serving in Africa, posted via Facebook
TrickyNicky replied to Steelharp's topic in General Chat
And I wish all the cry babies on the left AND the right could go spend some time with your boy in Africa. Off base. Then I think we'd have a lot more people on both sides with more concern for their country and less for their special interests. -
I like Randall's plan. Go grab a cup of coffe at Waffle House and leave it as a tip for your coffee. You'll make someone's week.

Oh man that's terrible. Best wishes for Brandon for a full and speedy recover and continuing for his family.

Those aren't too bad compared to the ZIP GUN I got awhile back. Looks cool and I'm a sucker for "innovation" if that's how you want to describe it. Things about as ergonomic as a freaking Betamax or VHS tape. I firmly believe that this one will remain LNIB forever. (I already test fired one round) It's the one on the bottom. That looks like a box.

Vortex StrikeFire - Broken?
TrickyNicky replied to Oh Shoot's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Well bam. Glad to hear they're taking care of you. Guess tomorrow I'll still give them a call if I can. If not for anything else than to balance out my own opinion of their CS after reading Oh Shoots posts. -
Vortex StrikeFire - Broken?
TrickyNicky replied to Oh Shoot's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Update: Didn't get a chance to call today as I had to work through lunch. I'll try to do it tomorrow if I'm not as busy. -
Found the info. PM me a cell number or email and send you all her info.

I'd like to try one out. It's not as snazzy as the vintage models but I still think it has nice lines and isn't ugly so much as not AS attractive as an original. Also not sure if I'd be carrying an original around as an EDC either...

It does look like someone's waving a turd under his nose don't it? :D
