  1. Yeah, but that's still a far cry from "democrats and only democrats..." IMO. As I and I guess many and more see it is you have your choice between condiments but any which way those condiments are still being served up hot on a sh;t sandwich. So which do you prefer, mustard and sh;t, or ketchup/catsup and sh;t?
  2. Shoot, I gave up already on ever seeing an RMR. It's to bad they can't get their crap in a pile, KT makes some really, really cool stuff and I'd probably own one of each if they could only build enough. Oh well, its shot show time, I'll wat to see what else gets unveiled by companies actually able to somewhat meet demand.
  3. I like that it takes 10/22 mags. If it has a tolerable trigger it could be a real contender, though a threaded barrel would be nice.
  4. The whole LA area is way to full of interesting individuals to even get started. Do you want to hear about the guy trying to wage a legal war on circumcision, the lizard man who collects vitamins from the sun through his tongue, or the rollerblading guy in robes and a turban playing Hendrix tunes on the boardwalk? They're all within a two block radius of one another...
  5. WTF? How spending some more time cranking out the guns they already make? KSG/PMR30/RFB>This thing IMO.
  6. F*€£ em both with a garden hose. 100' even.
  7. Do you actually go through and type that every time, or do you copy and paste it? :D
  8. But again, not the same as shipping through them with a high volume account. For instance, the company I work for has a mail order division. Now every once in a while I have to fulfill a mail order(not my department). When I do that I use our mail orders FedEx account. I've mailed items in excess of 20lbs with let's say 8"x12"x36" dimensions and had it come out cheaper through their (mail orders) account than when I ship a 6lb 10"x10"x10" box. Volume really does save you a LOT of money with them. Now keep in mind these are examples, not reall shipment prices but you get the idea. Also kind if funny how people tend to overlook the handling in shipping and handling. Packing materials cost money, so does the guy responsible for using them correctly to keep your package safe. For the volume they ship, FedEx is probably one of their cheaper options. The alternative to high shipping charges is higher prices on goods. Really this is better, for me anyway, I can add a few more items to the cart and make $12.00 shipping make sense, I can't go into their system and lower prices.
  9. Almost. I'm pretty sure a collapsible stock is now a tacticool prerequisite.
  10. If your interested Krav Maga check out San Soo. Chuck Cory teaches in Nashville and has a good rep in the Kung fu world. Cruel Hand Lukes post above is so good it should be read twice IMO. Know what kind of class your getting into, I see the students at a local krav school frequently, when I see them they are running laps in the parking lot with dumbells and medicine balls over their heads. I'm sure there is much more than that happening in the class but I'm not spending martial art money to build endurance, I'm doing it to learn body mechanics. Getting in shape is a side effect, but if that were my main focus I'd have a gym membership instead. :2cents:
  11. Yup it's a bit unnerving just how much information is available out there for a few bucks. Of course if you're more Internet savy than the average joe, I'd bet all that and more can be found 100% for free. Just the world we live in I guess.
  12. Yup it was about as stupid as anything else Ca does in relation to firearms. Like OS said, doesn't matter any more anyway. I remember seeing red over the whole damn thing. The gun owners in Ca still mostly baffle me. We (including myself in the former sense) essentially gave away the closest thing we had to a decent carry law (what with Ca being a "may issue" state) and at the time when you went into a gun shop, all you'd here about was "how nice it is to be able to buy an AR again" Sometimes I miss Ca. Then I read a few Calgun threads just to remind myself.

    PSA

Forget about it. The sooner you forget it's coming, the sooner you'll be pleasantly surprised by its arrival. The wait times aren't too much fun, but PSA always comes through with a good product at some of if not THE best prices.
  14. Liberty Mutual. So far no complaints, but then I've never had to file a claim either. Which reminds me, I need to call about my renters pretty quick here. I've been storing most of my guns off site at an insured location but they're all coming home soon.
  15. Start grabbing some survival books. You can get some good ones written for the commercial market and you can get military training manuals. You can even download some stuff as apps.
  16. This. I can easily and comfortably carry this in a pair of basketball shorts which have loose baggy pockets. If your shorts have "normal" pockets, you should be good to go.
  17. The loud mout monkeydick got what he deserved. Less than he deserved actually, I wouldn't of blame Buzz of putting the boots to him, medium style.
  18. Just don't tell that to Buzz.
  19. Oh jeez, now you've gone and done it. Gear up for a 15 page epic thread. What was this one originally about again?
  20. There's nothing "normal" about threads here, not even the course...
  21. Oh and thanks for all the rapid replies you all, much appreciated.
  22. Ah, see I show my ignorance all the time. Guess there's always next year for deer. Turkey hunting eh? That might be even better as I'm sure I could fit a whole turkey in the freezer I've got... I'll definetly grab a license if they get gobblers on their property. Might even be a good excuse for a new shotgun... :dirty:
  23. Quick question guys, sorry if this been brought up 100 times. A friend of mine has a lot of land outside Nashville. All season he has been trying to get me down there to take my first deer. I asked about where to grab a license and he told me that he and his family don't have them, they've been on the land since not too long after the civil war and I guess feel they don't have to have one on land that is their family's legacy. As for me, I desperately want to do some deer hunting this year, a big freezer and a license have been holding me back though. What do you all think, can they hunt their land LEGALLY with no license? Can I? I'm thinking not, but I guess it never hurts to check.
  24. Yeah but I think that had more to do with those deadly deadly moon bees.
