It's got wood grips, does that count for a resemblance? I think it may be a case of seeing the two side by side in person would clear up the doubt. Or do you just think they both look like generic handgun shape #6?

Meh, I couldn't care less, or maybe I could, I forget. Whichever one means I won't be losing any sleep over this is what I mean. 1. Couldn't care less(see above) about the violation. 2. From my end as a consumer, Brian is not the face of Nashville Armory, Andrew, Big Rich, Jody, Sean(both of them) and the rest are. As long as they continue to carry most of what I want at pricing that I find fair, keep making the effort to at least pretend to be happy to see me when I walk in, I'll keep buying guns and bullets from them.

Another New AR Caliber Debuted At SHOT

Pfft, bronies... -
OP is not likely to get a better offer when you consider proximity. If go this route for sure if I didn't want to PSA build one. Maybe even then...

Fine rifle, crappy seller. Send some bucks to just about anyone in the industry over CTD IMO.

What's your fix for a Mosin trigger?
TrickyNicky replied to roverboy's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
I just cleared Olga's toenails out of the action and shot mine. I'm afraid to try one of the trigger mods or drop in replacements, afraid if I do my wallet will ultimately suffer that is. -
I like it!

But remember, "THIS time it's important. NEXT time you can vote your concience, THIS time there's too much on the line." EVERY election matters and they all have consequences. The "lesser of two evils" plays right into the hands of the sh;tbag politicians who couldn't really care about politics one way or the next. Like many others, my mission for the next cycle is to send as many of their butts packing for home as possible, republican, democrat, whatever. If they've already "served" they're going home. The cycle of crap has to stop somewhere.

With those grendels you ought to be able to drop a fatty as soon as he comes waddling into your county, nonetheless sidewalk.

Sorry duder, if I was on Facebook I'd be on it though.

As far as the whole Lonesome Dove thing goes, the movies just can't compete with the books. If you've seen them but not read them you're missing out. Also Lee VanCleef is THE quintessential western actor IMO. Clint is good, John Wayne did a great job, but Lee was best.

Holy moley! I haven't been paying much attention to gunbroker pricing in the last few months, WTF? A few things I've learned/experienced. It's been almost a year since I've bought ammo at Walmart. I still shop there for socks and milk though, and always walk by the ammo cabinet just by habit I guess. It's been over a year since I've bought ammo at a gun show. I haven't even been to one. There's too many people vying for too few deals to really be worth it. Better off with the TGO classifieds IMO. I've bought more ammo online in the last year than I ever have in all other years combined. Not hard as I hadn't bought much online in the past. Shipping rates keep this from being an effective option most of the time for me. I've pretty much come back full circle to buying more from the LGS. In the past it has been nice saving a few bucks at a gun show, or even saving a few plus having the sock and milk convenience of Walmart. These days are different though. These days I just want to buy a little ammo, throw a box or two in the range bag, throw a box or two back for the "hoard". For the last 6-7 months it has been tough to beat the LGSs around Nashville if you just get visions of $20.00 value packs out of your mind. It's true that most of my rimfire comes in little 50 round boxes and does average out $30.-$50. Per 500 rounds, BUT I have had consistent any luck getting between 150-500 rounds almost every time I look. I don't mind paying the extra under the circumstance. The money is going to a licensed entity legally engaged in the business and the cost is legit, smaller packages cost more since you don't get that bulk discount. The "benefit" I've noticed is that I usually end up with some kind of "special" ammo, subsonic or super duper velocity stuff mostly. With that in mind, it IS possible to still be shooting AND throwing ammo back these days. Without supporting any gougers. A very long winded way of saying that paying "too much" doesnt always make one a dummy. IMO.

That's a good looking poochie. Lots of character already. -
Figured from the pics. They'd done away with that front sight in favor of the half ramp for some time by the 60's. Many(all?) the revolvers of a given time period used the same style front sight so that is usually a pretty good place to start looking if you ever need to try to get a rough date from pictures. The time spans are wide, but it will give you a general idea. Btw, great piece. I'm jealous as hell.

Looks good! What have ya got on the muzzle, it's just barely out of view on all the pics?

Meh, they've got plenty of -06 in Ca as well. He'd likely fare better in the upper east. The vatos down in East Los won't have any harder a time with him than the good ole boys here. Probably less as they're not exactly known for their strong moral fiber ya know.

I'd be willing to bet Walmart comes ahead even at 10%. Plus you can't buy socks and bullets at Kroger anyway. -
Dolomite posted a link to an eBay seller who has adjustable low profile blocks for around $45.00 That's an awesome price and if Dolomite says your good to go then you are.

Well I was all set to plug my Craftsman plunge router until I realized why I had not heard of the brands you mentioned. :D Good luck, I'm sure someone here knows what you need. I just use the one AT&T sent me and for what I need (TGO, streaming Netflix) it works great.

I've still got some surplus 7.62x39 but I'm pretty sure it is Romanian or Yugo or something. Not sure I've seen surplus rounds from any country in the better part of a decade. For x39 that is.

P226 is probably going to run into $500-$600+. Check out the Ruger SR9 and SR9c. Both great options that you should find around your budget. Also check out the P95 as well. Not as nice IMO but a great utilitarian 9mm.
