George Zimmerman boxing rapper DMX in celebrity match
TrickyNicky replied to Sam1's topic in General Chat
Ah, makes sense. That is pretty much the definition of punk by talking trash and not signing the contract. Why even sign up? Honestly I bet one or two well placed punches would lay either of them low, I figure DMX has one major tactical advantage though. He was in that movie that one time with Steven Segal. Huuuuge advantage. -
If be interested as maybe an out building or shop, but not at that price. 5k, might be worth looking into. 25k, could have something built better for cheaper. I know that's not the point with these, but even for their intended purpose, at that price and I imagine they're quite bulky and hard to effectively get them in mass where needed, there are again better options.

George Zimmerman boxing rapper DMX in celebrity match
TrickyNicky replied to Sam1's topic in General Chat
Why are so many of you under the impression that DMX is going to receive a smack down? I'd be willing to bet it goes the other way around with George on the ropes most of the night, DMX was pretty ripped last time I saw him, plus Zman had problems enough with a 17 year old who was if anything scrawnier than the DMX. Also wondering why so many people think he deserves a smack down? I don't care for him one way or the next and he comes off as incredibly ignorant in his lyrics, but I can't see why is on the same level of unpopularity with Zman? Is it because he's a gangster? A rapper? A gangster rapper? Just to clarify in case there's any confusion regarding my previous post, I think he's a loser because he's got no real talent at his trade, plus he's getting involved with this crap-fest. Other than that I've got no grudge? -
Those look great, my dads Tula is being left stock but if I ever ran into a screaming deal on another sks I could see myself wanting something like that for sure.

You're a dick, he's a dick, I'm a dick, whatever. The matter of pedophilia is a social problem, not a religious one. It exists in some shape or form in every religion, because like in this forum, your going to get a lot of really great people, and your gonna get some real dicks in there too.

There won't be any winner in this fight. Just two losers, one beaten worse than the other. -
p That's the problem. If it was just finding a bubba'd 91/30 and having the barrel cut and crowned it would be done by now. Gun laws make me :(

Pointless and gimmicky indeed. Is there a waiting list? :stalk:

Sending a pic of the box to someone who may be able to translate. We'll what kind of info the box has printed on it.

That's what I'm talking about! Those things are just plain cool. Not sure how many rounds I would fire with it, but I've given thought to building one. Don't think I'll do it but its nice to dream.

Just be sure to tell the guy at the counter its an out of state sale before getting started. I don't know for a fact, but I'd be willing to bet Nashville Armory will sell to you.

Libtards® will fear this! Tracking point XS1
TrickyNicky replied to Dustbuster's topic in Long Guns
Valid point on moving targets. Can it track them or are you stuck shooting where something was 3 seconds ago or restarting the process or whatever? I think its neat and wouldn't mind having one, though not for even 1/10th what they cost. I do think it's basically cheating to have the gun shoot itself at the designated spot. The automatic scope calibration is neat though, just would want to leave some of the human error potential intact. -
#90. I case anyone hadn't figured it out, the order we placed our orders in had nothing to do with what number we got. I would have been the last to order, or at least close to it. I got my order in just after the deadline, which is funnily enough why I will choose to business with CMT again should I need anything they offer, hands down. I was expecting to have to beg and plead to get on the list after deadline, nope, took my info, thanked me for working with them and off the phone in less than 15minutes. Class act all the way.

That's uh, really... something? I thought for a minute we were talking about the Nagants that have been turned into handguns. I still think THOSE are BA, but this... Well, no. Just no.

*Winner Selected* Rugerla1 : Paying it Forward Giveaway

In for the win. -
I finally got a chance to check out a brace in person the other day. It is much more rigid and stable than I had guessed it would be based on pics. The cheek weld is a nice feature for an arm brace IMO. I have to give one of these a try on an actuall pistol before spending the money, but its a more viable option now in my eyes than it was before I had a chance to check one out. The length of pull still seems too short, but according to Oh Shoot it might fall into an acceptable range for me. Now when do they come out with an FDE model?

Ugh, WTF? Why do some people just have to mess with things?

Or Hunter S Thompson. He was a gun nut and I wouldn't mind a Colt SA with custom sculpting work to look like his two thumbed death cannon he was shot out of after his demise. At least, that was the plan. Dunno if he ever built the thing or not, but can't you just see yourself owning a commemorative one of these inlet with 12lbs of gold leaf?

I'm more along that line of thinking. Good reactionary targets are cheap if you know what to buy. Pressurized anything will give you some kind of reaction for the most part. Cheese wiz, shaving cream, cheap soda, clays, paintballs, balloons, the list goes on. $80.00 will buy a lot of the above mentioned. You can go to Walmart with $100.00 and leave with a cart full of fun crap to shoot. Speaking of which, I've always wanted to pour a huge jelo mold with a 1lb jar or two of tannerite tucked inside and blow it up. It would have to be a very thick mixture at the bottom to hold the weight, but thats doable. Getting it to a range before it melts would be the biggest hurdle. Besides finding a range where I can blow up jelo. That may be the biggest hurdle.

Coke's America the Beautiful - Give me your thoughts
TrickyNicky replied to Shug's topic in General Chat
I'll find something to be offended by tonight. This won't be it. It's been said better already, I love the song and everything it stands for. Language is a non issue. Maybe they'd better have the sign language interpreters stop interpreting it while we're on this whole "speak 'Merican" kick. But then, that's probably fine since its American Sign Language. (Insidently, ASL is the only excepted language with the word America associated with it at all. And since I'm on the rant, why don't all you "lousy <insert political party of choice> stop trying to change the core values America stands for?!?1!!111." Sound familiar? -
I'll see those tic-tacs and raise you a paddywhack. That's what you call a stout club used for the harder headed Irish. A paddywhack. Said the Irishman with the hard head. ;)

I don't know, it's a doosy but we've had some real winners. If it makes it half as long as an open vs concealed carry or 1/4 as long as a gay thread then we might have a contender here.

I'd love to see what Ruger come up with as a custom shop gun. Tend to doubt I would splurge on one, but you never know. The GP and SP lineups are underrated IMO. Durable as all get out and loaded with potential.

Gun buyback fail - Bring your own tissues

It's in LAPD hands now. It'll fall off the truck on the way to the melting plant. ;)
