  1.    While I agree with Casters sentiment, No_One is right. There is plenty of other fat to trim before we get to this.
  2. I've got them all over the damn place. I bought a few pmags before Christmas and just found them in a closet last week. I keep most of them loaded in a duffle bag in a locker. One or two with the rifle and even when I think I've got all the empties rounded up in a drawer they end up popping up on book shelves, other drawers or boxes etc. I went on a magazine spree last year and bought every reasonably priced magazine I could, one at a time or in the biggest lots I could afford/find. Keep in mind I wasn't reselling and didn't have many to begin with. I think in finally set on them... For a while.
  3. A moose "push" to the head with a moose hoof could kill you. The guys likely wearing a helmet but could still be kicked in the throat or chest. A broken collar bone wouldn't be much fun either. One thing I can bet, once you've been pushed once I a moose I'm sure you'd be very keen on not having a repeat performance. Still doesn't change the fact that I think the whole thing could have been handled better and again, probably avoided all together.
  4. I'm thinking he could have, and should have avoided the whole thing. Once it attacked I can see no reason to believe it wouldn't have attacked again though. Also I am aware of the legalities of "warning shots", but that might have also been a better option than clapping ones hands and barking like a dog. Maybe not though, never met a moose in person but every animal I have ever fired a gun near has quickly thought if a better place to be.
  5. No I use the full sight version as I can't stand mobile sites, that can't be it. Hmmm... So just me huh?
  6. The creation for recent topics still has its header and I can see it briefly while the homepage is loading but it "snaps closed" for lack of a better term once the page is loaded. I'm on an iPhone if that helps, anyone else having issues?
  7. The $150-$200 or so it would cost me to secure my mags would go a ways toward refilling them after a range trip... Just sayin.
  8. His name is mentioned in the first book. It's easy to get lost in the series if you don't read them one after another. King drifts between different realities so often that some if the books IMO could even be left out all together. Don't forget, King released an 8th novel a year or so ago that takes place between book 4 and 5 I believe. I'm waiting for my nook battery to charge as we speak so I can buy it.
  9. What's the other gun you'd be getting with the Redhawk?
  10. Don't let the door hit ya.
  11. If the furniture is worth it to you, I would strip and restain. I don't think you'd be happy with a quick fix's results just going off some of your other posts. Before doing anything make sure you have a good understanding of what you have. It maybe that doing anything to it is throwing money down the drain in that it may be worth more as it sits than you paid.
  12. What do you mean by darker? Can you post a pic of what it looks like and what you need it to look like?
  13.    Roland was A Gunslinger, not THE gunslinger. As was his father Stephen and his father before him. The gunslingers were more of a class than anything. Like a samurai in feudal Japan, sort of. Eddie, Jake, Susan and even Oy were all Gunslingers as well.
  14. Liberator.
  15. You left off Paladin. Either way I went with Roland Deschsain. Those gunslingers were some BA dudes.
  16. I'd say that's about an accurate enough depiction. ;)
  17. AR 10 mold?! Very interested. Do you have plans to beef up the area around and below the buffer tube or are you planning on building just a polymer copy of an existing reciever? I've got 3 polymer lowers and have been very happy with them. All function well and have stood up to the "rigors" of life as a range gun. I had decided not to buy any more polymer, but I really like what you guys are doing so far, I may have to pick up a few just because.
  18. Some of them still won't be convinced! :tinfoil:
  19. I've seen people here short on cash, patience, ammo, etc. Never short on opinions here though. Oh and Broox, I'm pretty sure you meant roadrunner.
  20. Hey, I resemble that remark. ;)
  21. That is freaking cute.
  22. Good job! Get her started young and the lessons will be with her for life.
  23. I feel like you maybe forgot a link or pic? In any case, time for a jailbreak!
