  1. Uh oh, triangular guitar pick + skulls on pandora = You might check this out, pretty good deal. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ptac-16-mid-length-5-56mm-moe-fde-1-9-upper-with-bcg-charging-handle-and-mbus.html
  2. It'll look cool, kinda. Other than that can't see the point? Not something I'd want and not something I'd want to explain to the DA, judge or jury. Would this be a "sometimes" gun or truck gun maybe?
  3. What's the one second from the bottom, weaponized pile of dog crap?
  4. If you've got a good berm, set up some clays in there and shoot them until they're all a pile of dust. Works with handguns to make the initial shot and break them, then move back a bit and use the rifles to finish the job. If the new guys are having trouble give them shotguns with birdshot.
  5. Pretty neat but I prefer my bacon in weave form ala epicmealtime.
  6. For price and availability it is hard to beat PSA (Palmetto State Armory) you can usually find a LPK bundled in with some other goodies for pretty cheap. Make sure you get the PSA brand and not the ptac if you want the better kit. Also take a look at tools you'll need, better to just get them out of the way so you don't end up with all your parts and no way to put them together. You can buy them separate or together as a kit. I bought all mine separate, if I had to do it again if just grab a reasonably priced kit and be done with it. You'll need to host your pics somewhere like photobucket before posting here. Once they're uploaded just grab the long labeled img and post it here.
  7. It's been said best already:
  8. The language! Someone should washout his mouth with hot water and a steel toe boot.
  9. M4 will likely be cheapest. They're also handy little carbines, I'm glad I started that way personally as it is easier to decide what to build differently having a reference point. You might even decide that the M4 does everything you want an AR to do.
  10. What are you going to use it for? Where will it fit in with what you already have? You've got an ak74 and building a '47, correct? If so a longer barreled rifle (20") might be a good fit. If you go that way I'd recommend looking carefully at the weight of each component as with a heavier barrel, optic, and longer handguard, the weight can creep up on you fast. You can keep the overall weight down, Dolomite has a 20" AR that comes in pretty light, around 6lbs if I recall right. On the other side of the coin I've got one that comes in at about 9-10lbs without bipod, scope, or mount. From reading his part list back when he built it I'd say most of the weight difference comes from the barrel and the handguard. For me the extra weight isn't too big of a deal. It was built for the bench or other mostly stationary kinds of shooting. It's still light enough that it would work for a grab and go rifle, but it wouldn't be my first pick just based on having lighter options available.
  11. Looks like a lot of fun. Good shooting!

  13. It's fixed. I think clearing out my cookies did it.
  14. I can make out Danger up top. I assume the bottom has something to do with peasants, or burninating, or some combination thereof. Either way it gets a thumbs up from me.
  15. I got a miserable toothache. Your both having a better day. :(
  16. Its true, I may have just the slightest amount of Ca sand left in my man-gina, and I have been told by a member here that his first thought upon seeing me was "here's a dainty little flower" but all that aside the guy made it abundantly clear he wasn't looking to start anything and just wanted to talk fishing and hunting. Aside from having thin skin his only mistake was not being ashamed of where he was from or keeping it a secret. It was a shitty welcome.
  17. Come on Super King, why that one?
  18. Seriously? What the hell kind of welcome was this? What is in the water here lately?
  19. You and me both. They were truly a group of wise men, wise beyond their years.
  20. That's really nice! You guys did a great job, it looks better than anything you can find in a store, that's for sure.
  21. Forget the alligators, worry about the CHUDS!
  22. From one damn Yankee to another, welcome to freedom!
  23. Just noticed your tag over the avatar. Love it.
