Nice! Whats the deal with the trigger?
-
I never realized it was this unpopular! It does have it's drawbacks, the fast hour of the day will go by just unbearably slow when your internal clock is telling you it's past quitting time for at least a week or two. Getting home in the dark is a bit of a drag too. But still, for that one glorious hour when I'm laying in bed and it feels like I should be up and at em... I'll take it.

I love Fall back. That extra hour is as good as 1/2 a vacation for the working man.

I get kicked out of the chat almost nightly. The system boots you after so many minutes of inactivity. ;) I would imagine that or the issues it was having over the weekend are to blame.

I was thinking the same TNtiger. My parents live right off crocket park and I used to drive by EW everyday on the way to work. Tons of LEO presence there. I'm not a fan of the owner, but I highly doubt he deserves anything like this mess in his life, hopefully he is able to get everything taken care of timely and with as little loss as possible, thieves suck the big one and ones as brazen as these could be flat out dangerous in their stupidity.

Yes. I was talking to GJ last night in the chatroom about this and I was blown away. He has always made nice stuff as long as I've known him, but this IMO showcases that his skills are still climbing and have reached a level of accomplishment I would very proud of if I were him. Great job again homie!

I've got a sneaking suspicion you are correct on that one sir! They know me too well at Nashville Armory. Big Rich put one in my hand and just had this little grin on his face. I liked it OK but I had to ask why he was making a big deal on it. Then he told me to try the trigger.

I haven't been to a show in years. Last one was a Goodman show at the fair grounds and it was the middle of june or july, the A/C was broken, there was very little there I go to gun shows for (used/old/weird/cheap stuff), what was there was priced like it was Pattons personal colts and the cokes at the concession stand were like 5 bucks. Couple all that with nimrods going around flagging anyone and everything and I'll just pass. The free jerky samples were good though.

That's a beauty Fourty5! I've been lusting after a 75 B SA ever since my buddies at the LGS in Nashville put one in my hand about 3 years ago. One of these days I'll act on my compulsion, form and function together hand in hand and looking good.

Photobucket has been 'better' the last few months or so I noticed. Still not great, and even with adblocker they have a pop up or two, but it is better than it was.

Well thats a relief. I would have a friend in the next county hold onto those nails though just to be sure... They say you are more likely to fasten yourself or a loved one than a rogue stud or joist.

Don't scare me like that Red! I'll probably need adult diapers tonight the trauma, the fear, the angst!

Not me, those things are dangerous. I had a staple gun once, but it made me nervous even having it unloaded in the garage. I turned it in at a buyback to make sure it stayed off the street. They didn't give me anything for it, but I felt better knowing I had done my community a service.

Elk and bison are two of my very favorite meats. I haven't had either in a few years though. Scratch that, I haven't had elk in close to a decade, had some ground bison maybe 5 or so years ago. Those are the kind of meals you remember for a LONG time. Tasty. Not sure how I feel about fast food takes on either ,or venison for that matter.

Buckethead is a beast! He has a huge catalog too, an EP machine.

Good job Mikey! Awesome! -
We were just keeping it low pro No particular raisin, but we have our reasons... You missed out on a good time though, guess which event(s) happened. A.I summoned Ted from the bowels of wherever he's hanging out lately B. No_0ne finally told us the secret of his success with the ladies (it's trout BTW), C. GJ and CZ got in a he brawl and were all like , and me and Superman just kinda sat back and watched the world burn. D. I said a bunch of stuff, people humored me. E. 1972. F. TGO DAVID named me supreme TGO chat dictator for life, then added another 20 years to my sentence when I pouted.

Same. I would really like to see a lever action falling block in .357 but I won't get my hopes up.
-
Any pics of these beasts around? Would like to check out the .410 and the single shots especially.

I really like my sp101 in .22lr it would be a bit heavy and large for a pocket gun though. might be that a good smith could chop the barrel down to the length of the ejection rod shroud and reattach the front sight, but you'd have to buy the ruger at a real steal to make that make more sense than the lcr option, unless the D/A trigger on the later was an absolute deal breaker.

Sorry for your loss Joe .

Post the last firearm related thing you bought!

I ordered a weaver base for my newly shortened and threaded 597. It was supposed to come in last week, still waiting on my LGS to call. I have a $96. Credit with them and I'll be dipped if I can find anything I really want or need for a C-note. Will probably buy a little ammo, but $100 doesn't go very far these days -
I would do pretty much everything you mentioned on the OP. Make de a reasonable offer, if he takes it great, if he counters on the premise that the auction price is climbing tell him your suspicions in a courteous but straight forward manner and let him know you're offer stands. From there if he is immovable, send eBay a letter with your suspicions and findings, then go find another RV to plunk coin on.
