  1. You know, either of these groups could step down from their pedestals of foolish pride and call this off. I'll have absolutely zero sympathy for any participants who get injured or killed. The real tragedy is that knowing Murphy, all asshats will walk away unscathed and some uninvolved 3year old will get with a stray a few blocks away. I'm really trying here and can't see anyone to root for in this.
  2. I can't see it being any easier or economical to convert it to work on a carbine tube. I'd think if anything the lazy way out would be swapping your tubes. Your spring and buffer are still good to go, all you need is the new tube. legalities aside, your likely looking at more effort to do it the other way.
  3. I'll agree that she's dimmer than a broken lightbulb, but to be fair there are plenty of pro NFA gun folks out there sharing a similar or identical opinion on semi vs FA being no more dangerous than each other. I've even heard plenty if knowledgable pro gun folks opine that a semi is more effective as it is easier to use. We can't have our cake and eat it too.
  4. Apparently you can't read Mac, he already said he access to multiple computers  I predict he'll be back, he's already made it clear that what he wants and where he wants to be are the only things that matter. Good news is he'll likely get bored swimming upstream at some point.
  5. My mom had to tell me top ramen was too expensive to buy anymore because I ate so much of it. I loved that stuff growing up. I still eat it a fair amount, its cheap and fast, technically still food too. I usually use it as a base these days though, I'll either crush it up and cook it in frying pan with a few eggs cracked in it, or throw some frozen veggies in there and use the seasoning packet with peanut butter to make a pad thai kind of dish, also with eggs. And yes, when we were in our teens we would eat them raw like some kind of noodle brick bar. Usually while intoxicated.
  6. I wouldn't worry about how a stranger carries. I don't know them or their situation so I'm not really one to judge whether it works well for them or not. Personally I think retention holsters are pointless if your not a cop, but I won't knock anyone for wanting or using one.
  7. Agreed. The only person I ever saw out-do the Who's line is it anyway cast. Very sad for the family, friends, and fans. It does kind of boggle my mind that someone like that wouldn't have another resort, but I think also at times that I put too much stock in money and popularity. Just thinking of some of my worst days feeling 2" tall and I can tell you that in those times money wouldn't have made me feel any better, more friends would have just meant more people to shut out. I really feel for those who live like that full time.
  8. Good thoughts coming your way for a speedy recovery.
  9. It looks like there is residual heat on and around the chair from someone sitting. Depending on how long after the picture got taken, I'd say that's pretty good. I tend to doubt that they'd put out anything bogus, even at the rediculous price for the tech. I'd love to have one, but I'll wait until the price come down a bit, or I scratch a few other itches first.
  10. Would get my vote on an all blued gun. Those are sweet. I think would look better on the two tone though.
  11. Lol sorry, the angle made it look higher on than the floor on the phone. It's a nice rug. Funky fresh. Next Saturday is out :( Sunday would be doable but I don't know if your wanting to wait. I've got to meet up with Bersaguy too... We really need a TGO meet n shoot in mid TN...
  12. I use whatever's handy for 9/10s of what need doing for basic cleaning. I'm still working through a fairly large order if balistol from a few years ago. I may change it up when I run out. Doubt it though, it does the job fine and is a clean product. Plus handy as heck around the house, and non-toxic by itself too, which is a minor consideration but what the heck. I have I small bottle of some kind if thick grease that was old when I was a kid, it's lasted probably over my lifetime even though I used to gob it onto everything before I knew better. Whatever it is I'll probably just grab some light to medium grease to replace it if I ever run out. Now the other 1/10 involves mostly cleaning powder rings off of cylinder faces. I'll buy and try anything for that chore. Still find that some Hoppes on a rag with lots of elbow grease is the best for that, along with a brush for blued guns, and I just use an old treated cloth on stainless steel.
  13. Let me start a list: 1. 2. I'd really like your opinion on the 930 after you've had it awhile. I like the idea if a semi more and more... 3. Love the funky fresh bedspread. 4. Les Paul knockoff you say... Even though it's to be a target, inquiring minds and all that, what you got? 5. We need to do a range day. Especially if guitars are involved. Maybe I can even make it to this one... ;)
  14. FAKE. Everybody knows hoverboards don't work on water. You've got to have powa...
  15. Anyone else read to the bottom where the ruling is under investigation? I doubt it sticks.
  16. Good job Bersa! I guess I might quit one of these days, I did before for over a year but I grew to missing it enough that I picked it back up again  .
  17. I knew it was BS before opening the article. I got so far as "Ruger lcr" when I knew it was laughable BS. Wonder how long they'll maintain that it "went off" after learning their new gun is equipped with a trigger transfer bar?
  18. The bottom line here is that you are factually incorrect AB. You certainly have a right in this example, a right NOT to go onto the property if it makes you feel unsafe to do so unarmed. I can tell already that its unlikely you would be welcome long on mine, and carrying a gun has nothing to do with that. We have rules here, and in an effort to stay compliant with them I'll close by simply saying that your ideals and positions expressed above are those of a petulant child, and I can't help but wonder how many Che shirts you used to have before embracing the communist, er I mean, simplistic, property free lifestyle you seem so sure is the answer to the problems of a group of people you don't know? I'm guessing 3.
  19. how many deviant sons do you have?!
  20. I agree Bersa, at least in spirit anyway. If a players pay can cover his tuition it should. At the very least it should change the way athletic scholarships are used and funded. I'm not a college sports fan so I don't really have a strong or educated opinion, but my gut says that this is going to be an even bigger distraction to the player/student, a and I can't help but wonder if the same incentive to graduate and go pro will be there. I don't like it.
  21. I wouldn't have pointed any gun at him regardless of any inspection. That's nothing short of lunacy. Which is to call Whiley a lunatic, the real dip stick here is the person entrusted to instruct having what could be relatively inexperienced people and then instructing them to put a gun on someone they didn't intend to shoot.
  22. It's surpassed even the gayest of gay threads that I can recall and appears to be approaching critical mass, aka chick-a-fillet OC status.
