  1. Nope. It just looks like you come in, wait a few minutes and leave. Can you see us?
  2. I was wondering what you were doing. No idea what's wrong, not like anything I ever had happen.
  3. Yeah, I still don't get it. Nobody would like it if I started playing throat tap, why do they think I want them doing that? Plus I have a bad habit of jolting towards a sudden movement that has left me on the ground from this funny little joke.
  4. Honestly an AR or two and some kind of rimfire. Even if I could afford a FA I doubt I could afford to feed it.
  5. Lol, the way you phrased that reminded me of a funny story about the time my fist tried occupying the same space as my friends face. At least when someone asked how or why I broke 2 fingers punching Brendan in the head, that's what I told them; It was a space/matter experiment brought on by Brendan being a monkeydick. Keep in mind he had just given me my first "sack tap" and I had no idea what that was, I thought he was just trying to punch me in the nads as a joke. Not funny. >:( But I hear ya, I've heard all the reasons and tend to agree that people in cars suck when your on a bike, but the one thing I would always bring up to them was that I hope the mirror is worth it when a driver does completely run them off the road after, either out of malice or just because their reaction will most likely to be to turn their heads sharply at the sound which may cause them to accidently swerve in the direction their heads turning. Sometimes it's better to be safe than righteous. To quote my buddy Bersa, this is of course, all JMHO.
  6. In all seriousness Larry, after your fantastic news at the Dr. I think you deserve a little treat. Now I know the missus might disagree as to what "little treat" means, but I also know she'll forgive you. I say do it for yourself if its feasible. :)
  7. Or not, some people are just wired where they can sit down and start writing in spoken word rhymes. It's especially easy if your more focused on expressing yourself than you are about coming up with the perfect verse.
  8. Dang I missed out. Oh well, I've got enough zombie sauce to last me the rest of the year probably.
  9. Depends I guess. I've found with Harbor Freight the best thing to do if you can't say, get one of their spotting scopes to focus is to try another. The QC on a lot of their stuff sucks, but when you find a good example they're usually ok. I was looking at the same scopes awhile back there and would have bought one if they hadn't had a bunch if other stuff to spend my money on first. One if the models mentioned above is likely much better, but are they 2x+ better?
  10. I try to never be on my phone while I'm driving. If an important call comes in I'll get it but try to get off again as soon as I can. For me it's not entirely a safety issue for me as I'm quite capable of walking and chewing gum, or driving and talking as the case may be. For me it's the same reason I won't typically drive after having a beer unless I wait several hours, in the event of an accident, I don't want anything held against me that likely didn't contribute significantly to said accident just because they are known factors in other accidents. I'm honestly fairly contemptuous of those who can't drive and talk, I don't get what the issue is. (I know the issues, just don't understand how they're problems for some people) Texting is a whole different ball game though IMO. I've never been fond of my bike riding buddies doling out street justice on side mirrors, but for texting dip sticks, I could look the other way.
  11. I got 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my entire chest when I was about 5 or so from a cup of boiling hot chocolate at the local Winchells Donuts. As bad as it was, my parents didn't sue. Talking to them years later it seems 1. Litigation was not as predominant as it is now. 2. My mother took personal responsibility for not checking temperature. 3. I popped the lid off myself. No my story is very different in some key areas, but one thing I can tell you, memory of the smell I smelled whenever they changed my body cast alone would have me awarding her a settlement in a heartbeat if it could be established that the accident was caused by negligence other than her own. Easy 2 mil, and that's just from the smell, I don't remember the pain except drifting in and out coherentness in the way to the hospital with my older sister crying and begging me not to die. As to Em body, I'm torn. He got exactly what he had coming to him and it surely isn't like he was blissfully ignorant either. Even still, a wrongful arrest is a wrongful arrest. It sucks that his stupidity has cost him his likelyhood, but again he's at least a player in his own demise. I'll let the system decide what's best here. I'm torn.
  12. CHMR. Charlie runs a great club and is a great guy.
  13. It's SoCal, they're all gangbanger towns. Sad but true.
  14. ^^ big difference in the way a sten shoots and an Uzi from my understanding.
  15. That kind of falls apart too though. I've employed people I wouldn't let have a gun in my shop. There's a big difference between trusting someone to be on time and not steal, do their job effectively, and not sass customers and carrying a gun in a business I'm responsible for. I'd say Wally zero correlation actually.
  16. :( sorry to hear that. It will give you something to look forward to tomorrow though.
  17. He's awesome. Did mine too after hearing the rave reviews. Congrats G, so where's the pics already!?
  18. Got mine last night. It's good stuff, good flavor and and a perfect amount of heat for me these days. I'll buy more when it runs out, even if its more than $1 ;) Favorite so far is the garlicky one.
  19. I'll echo others here. If you've got visions of low cost surplus weaponry floating in your head, the day has about passed. If you're looking to get a nice collection of older stuff it's certainly viable. As to the whole discount deal, a few months back Brownells had a sale on JP adjustable gas blocks. Usually $70. But for "dealers" they were down to $45. I saved my entire cost in the first one I bought. Since I got 4-5 I figure I made money, sort of. I try to only pull the online trigger from Brownells if I have $200 or more to buy, with that in mind I've saved either the entire cost, more, or just shy of $30 on near every order. The only downside is having to keep a bound book for records, and that's no big deal, just something you have to remember to do. If that doesn't sell it, the ATF sends out an impressive packet filled with useful information on all things gun legality related. I recon I could sell the packet for $30 if I really tried. Lol.
  20. I really like that with the pachmayer furniture. Looks great.
  21. Agreed, it was either the whole cavalry showed up or no one showed up. I cracked off a few rounds once in the suburbs (very safely) just to show the kid across the street (20 year old kid) that if he really had it in his head that the police were infallible and would always be there to protect him, he was sadly mistaken. 3-4 rounds in the middle of daylight and not one cop ever showed up in the neighborhood, at least not on our block. The flip side being a time my buddy was at Chuck E Cheese with his family. Someone was apparently acting a fool as they were leaving and he bumped into a sure as shoot SWAT team on his way out. Sure I can understand the location and all the kids warrants for decisive action, but there was nothing going on that he could see while he was there that warranted SWAT presence. Doesn't mean it was unwarranted, but you'd think someone with better than average situational awareness would have caught wind of something.
  22. Not only Ca, but riverside to boot. :p sorry. Little known tidbit, Riverside was the original setting planned for Breaking Bad. Due to filming costs they opted for NM. If you want some cheap entertainment, start asking the locals about the "secret tunnels" connecting Mount Ruby-do (sp) to the hotel. Don't tell them the building on the mountain is just an old pump house, it spoils the fun. Oh and if you see my uncle Bob tell him I said hi, you can't miss him, he's usually got a beard but sometimes shaves. Have fun!
