  1. I've been peeking at people more often to see if anyone's updated their interests or anything, but usually just the people on my friends list. Other than that I'd say the vast majority of mine are like R_Bert, being ham fingered while clicking on a phone is my excuse though. Also keep in mind that I'm pretty sure that you checking your own page raises the count. So if your constantly checking to see who's looking, that might drive the number also.
  2. ROFLMAO @ "old mustard"!  As to music, I'm to eclectic to have an opinion on the validity of old vs new except to contradict RC3 by saying that jazz hasn't gone down the crapper. Its always sucked with few exceptions. I think it was Nigel Tufnel who said it best about jazz guitar: "... you shouldn't be playing music! Because what good are people who do that jazzy sort of stuff? It's all too low-volume. Have you noticed that? What are they trying to hide? What have they got to be embarrassed about? If you're a good player, you play loud so people can hear it-that's why we plug these things in. If you play an electric guitar — I don't care if it's a Gibson 175 or a Charlie Christian — turn the ####in' thing up! To those people who do that 13th stuff I say, "By the time you count to 13, who cares? The song's over anyway. So let's play some serious rock and roll." It's all very impressive, I suppose, for some musicologists who play jazz and all that — let them have their way. But they must be afraid of something if they're not playing loud.
  3. I remember Oh Shoot mentioning it and me joining in on the fun, I don't seem to remember Anyone named smoke Though.
  4. Personally I'm glad the shooter lived. Dead men tell few tales and I think some answers are in order. I know that with the current media offerings it seems we have more than enough answers; converted to Islam, trying to convert others, beheaded, etc. but call me crazy, I trust any media to accurately report about as far as I can crap anymore. We don't know squat yet and won't for a few days or even weeks. There will be plenty of time to arrange a meeting with allah for the scum, after he's answered a few questions.
  5. Looking very good! get us a range report ASAP please. Also FYI; when selecting your image use the link tagged img and your pictures will show up like this:
  6. Yes and no. Milsurps are about done for C&R eligibility. Unless some forgotten armory gets discovered or something we are by all accounts circling the end. Now for non milsurp C&R guns the times as good as any and really actually quite good. Lots of old S&W are going to be eligible soon along with a plethora of older rifles and handguns. Now getting them shipped to you may be a different story as some people do to want to mess with shipping to a C&R holder. For the $10 a year I defy you not to save the total cost on 1-3 Brownells orders if you do any ordering from them at all.
  7. Dogs love the c-h-e-e-s-e. It's a proven scientific fact beyond dispute.
  8. Sounds like good shooting to me. glad the barrel worked out well, now hurry up and get a 9mm conversion since we all know you ultimately will anyway. :D
  9. Yeah , malnourished ain't exactly what comes to mind looking at him... It looks like he's gaining an understanding of the camera on that last one, he's all but saying "cheese".
  10. Guns and Leather in Greenbriar had a handful or so awhile back, You might check with them. If they're out you might try a membership here and posting a wtb ad, you'll have a good chance of dragging one up. I don't really think it makes sense to buy one online unless you have a C&R personally. By the time you figure shipping and transfer it's not likely worth it unless there's maybe a particular variant/year your looking for.

They prefer to be called Samsquanch. The plural for this is still Samsquanch.
  12. Darn right! After the effort and cost to get it to them they wouldn't want to see them go without.
  13. If they get tipped off and split it's lot better than having them be video taped and still get away with it, which is a good possibility. I can't see the harm in the signs and it could be they're more effective than the cameras anyway.

  15. I've got the cold steel one floating around somewhere. I'll see if I can find it.
  16. If by Ca pre-ban you mean the Ca AWB those lowers are as worthless as they are priceless since they are non transferable. :(
  17. I think they're making a slim model now too that should be a bit lighter also. Worth looking into at least, although the one dolomite linked looks very cool too for around the same price. Decisions decisions.
  18. I'm sorry for your families loss LJ, it sounds like a lot if folks lost a good friend too. Uncle Steve will always live on in your alls memory.
  19. I've had orders at my house for days that still showed as processing. I'd say typical ship time is about 3-4 days but much longer for a firearm, upper and ammo.
  20. I'm telling you Plank, between this and Dolomites I'm starting to seriously think about going for an AK next time funds allow. Yours came out absolutely awesome, I'm jealous.
  21. I know its last minute, but anyone want to meet up at Nashville Armory tonight? I want to go and run some rounds through my can with my 22/45 and AR pistol. I'm also hoping to get the vortex sighted in finally, bit not overly optimistic at this rate as I seem to be one of those people who just can't sight in worth a damn. So anyway, I'm thinking of getting there between 7:00 - 7:15 tonight. If anyone is interested shoot me a PM and we'll take it from there.
  22. Nah, no controversy, consider this normal side conversations. Most likely no one with more info to share on your query has seen the thread yet I bet. You want controversy, we have a months long OC thread still happening, and it's like the bazzilionth one. There's your controversy
  23. I had one tell me he could ship a box of ammo out no problem over the phone. I got there and he seemed... Incompetent, yet so sure of himself I thought he owned the place. He told me that he didn't keep omrd labels on hand, (after a brief search) but that the driver would have one with him. Being content to even find a place that didn't get crappy with me over the phone about it, I paid and left. I got a call the next day explaining that my package needed to be picked up because "this location doesn't ship ammunition". I was pissed to say the least.
  24. Good to know. If I were to hold a rifle in the firing position and relax my muscles to where they would naturally want to be, they hold at an angle. I've thought about getting a set to try them out, and still might, but I won't invest anymore than a cheapo set to test the concept.
  25. Glad you guys had fun down here, sounds like you guys ALL had a good time actually. Next time your in TN, give us middle staters a chance to take you out too.
