  1. Is that the same concept as running a can wet, or is that 2 different things?
  2. Only two I voted no on related to private property, and the clumsily worded one regarding states enforcing federal laws. No , I don't want any states participating in a gun grab, but that wasn't the question either, only an example given to justify the question.
  3. Ah, I see now. Well, I guess this conversation is about pointless then. You enjoy your dissstisfication, I'll enjoy my pizza. :)
  4. It's just the mom that distracts me. I can't tell what she's looking at... Paige on the other hand.... :stare:  :dirty:
  5.    Taken seriously or not, looks like you answered. If that's how you feel then that's how you feel. Personally, I lay as much blame on Papa John as I do on the gun manufacture. None at all. There's only one person to blame for all this, and he's in police custody.
  6. I do seem to recall there being an issue with papa Johns now that you mention it. I'm willing to set gun politics aside and acknowledge a class act though.
  7. I'm in. It's not a stretch for me to order pizza any way. I'm usually a Dominos guy for cheap pizza, but I'll be ordering papa johns this Friday.
  8. ^This. I've got a 20" a few 16" and a 7.5". The 20" really doesn't need anything, though I still like the Levang on there anyway. The 16" I feel you could get away with a plain barrel end, but the flash/noise and to a degree barrel raise are not ideal. Now the 7.5 NEEDS taming one way or the other IMO. Just different options for different people I guess, but definitely no booing going on here
  9. I just picked up one for .300 black out build I'm finally getting around too. I think this seems like the best concept yet as far as as these kinds of devices go. If I like it as much as I think I will I might have to replace the Levang and KAK too.
  10. Just caught on to that and was coming back to mention so, youre quick tonight
  11. Wait, is there another Tricky____ on board, or did you really just answer a question before it was asked? :stunned:
  12. Well to be fair it isn't exactly like there were any quality gun shows on network cable anyway, before or after. Closest I could think of would be American Guns, and that show was arguably worse all the way around. I do hear ya though, it's doubtful we'll get any more mainstream gun shows at this point, and honestly I don't care. As long as I can get my fix from the outdoor channel and the like, I'll keep the quality shows and America can keep the reality drama.
  13. This might sound kind if weird but I've been told it works very well. Mix 1-2 teaspoons of vanilla extract into 1 gallon of paint. Apparently it won't effect the paint (though some sites say only us it with colors) but apparently removes paint odor and replaces it with vanilla scent. If your going to be painting anyway it might help?
  14. For LOP I just wrapped self adhesive silicon tape around the tube for a custom fit. I wrapped it up high enough that the tap on the bottom of the sb15 was just touching the wrap when it was engaged. Then I cut it flat on top to give it clearance for the charging handle, and gave it one more wrap to cover the cut section. The tape is self fusing so it basically looks like a rubber extension on the brace. When you look at it closely you can tell its home made, but it works great and the length is just where I want it.
  15. I like it. Good simple rig, but looks like it has some good stuff too. I'll bet it chugs along for some time with just a little lubrication.
  16. Real one should have an ebony board, not rosewood. The toggle switch is not correctly aligned in relation with the fret board. The binding in the neck should have nibs. The nut at the neck is the wrong style, size, and shape. The inlays should be mother of toilet seat (pearloid plastic.) the pickups appear to have flat pole pieces while the real Ace would have come with Dimarzios which use an Allen head topped pole piece. The body shape does appear off, though that might actually be an illusion due to the toggle placement, but maybe not. The case is suspect as it should have come with purple lining and as pointed out doesn't quite hug the body right. I'd like to be able to take a few other other measurements on it vs a real Les Paul, but the above is enough to call it. That's all I could pick into last night with the resolution on the phone, but any one if them would make it suspect, all of them and it just is what it is. A fake.
  17. Absolutely considering your goal. The barrels I got were noting special, but not only was the price right, they are actually better than I thought they'd be at that price. Where else can you take your pick between 1/7, 1/8, 1/9 16" M4 barrel WITH 223Wylde chambering for under $90 delivered? No where I've found. One bit if advice, get one of their pistol barrels just to have on hand too. They're so cheap, and the shipping won't go up making each one a sweeter deal! I'd put these on par with the ARStoner barrels I've bought, but at even better pricing.
  18. Classic arms for barrels starting at $75. I have two, they're fine so far. AIM surplus for BCG. You can get a nitride or Nib for cheap. Just get a standard one and even cheaper. Again, I have two, they're fine. Brownels for upper parts; dust cover, forward assist. PSA for pretty much all the rest.
  19. Didn't last long though... Already all sold.
