  1. This.^ I usually do something similar on Tuesday nights, but I wait to get in the privacy of my own home. At least now that they dropped the charges from the last time I took a Tuesday night out on the town I don't have to go 'introduce myself' to my neighbors the next time I move.
  2. It's working just fine now FYI. Crisis averted
  3. ^ You see, you see?!?!11? The coup begins.
  4. The Chat function booted me out this evening and when trying to rejoin the room I get the following error message. I know this has happened to at least one other user so far too. Just an FYI David, if I don't get back in there soon No_0ne will raise a level of discontent and defiance against me that I may never be able to reclaim the respect of my fellow chatters. Help me TGODAVID, you're my only hope. Sorry, there is a problem There was an error joining the chat room. Please try again or contact us. Error code: 5H269/A Contact U
  5. Ebay is getting better and better all the time from a consumers point of view, they have competitive pricing, lots of vendors there and often shipping is free if you shop for it. They're no Amazon though. Not even close when you consider the streaming that's free with prime. At the end of the day I'm tired of boycotting businesses over opinions anyway. I disagree with the chic- fila company on stuff, but I still eat the chicken.
  6. It's a hell of a drive for me these days, but if I can make it I would love too. Fridays and weekends would be most conducive to that, but don't let me throw the whole thing off for everyone.
  7. Tell him to take away the iphone and get her a jitterbug. It was it all, numbers 1-9, hashtags, a 0. She'll have a blast.
  8. :/ I'm not too surprised, but thats a shame. At this point the smartest thing they could do is contract S&W to make them .
  9. Nice dude! I was wondering if you had gotten it. You got any airline miles? That might be worth a weekend trip to Wyoming or Utah or something
  10. That was my guess as well. Great minds think alike.
  11. I was logged in when I got mine. I went ahead and opened a second browser and logged in there for good measure. Double the Nicky, double the fun.
  12. Around here? Be prepared for stories of livestock, firewood. lawn furniture and maybe even sexual favors. Nashville Craigslist can be an interesting place.
  13. Just wow.
  14. One of my guys at work has one and really like it. I got a chance to check it out and was impressed at the amount of gun he got for the money. I think they'd actually make a great carry gun in that if you had to ever use it it wouldn't be a big financial hit to have it rot in an evidence room for however long it would be there.
  15. I actually have, or getting a model 10 cylinder to keep it .38 special. It was part of the plan, but fell way, waaaaay off the back burner with other projects.
  16. Mine has a few slight issues, but none stem from it being what it is. Mine was reamed out for .38 special and so it bulges cases when they've been fired. For the same reason I only shoot very low powered rounds through it despite being given a bill of clean health by a very competent smith. It has a slightly kinked ejection rod too, not enough to really hinder function, just enough to feel when the kink rolls around when cycling the action. Someone at some point had a new front sight installed, and while it looks a bit funny it does it's job fine. The nickle refinish is scratched up and doesn't look so hot. All THAT aside, I still enjoy owning and shooting it, though I shoot it very rarely. It is one of my favorites for dry fire practice ,has a nice trigger.
  17. Thats them! Thank amigo!
  18. Along the TN/GA border. I know they do a lot of blue label sales and also get a fair amount of trade ins from PDs, but I just can't recall their name. Anyone know who I'm talking about? My dad found some PD trade in S&W 640's, but they gt snagged before he jumped on them. Figured I'd check the usual suspects to see if more from that batch or another are floating around. Thanks guys!
  19. I wouldn't change my plans. You declare your gun on your end, not the receiving end so their feels probable won't come into play one way or the other.
  20. Sorry for your loss Mac, thats rough. RIP Daisy.
  21. Yup. All of it. This feels like the idea was executed by an MBA type executive who would be just as at home (or maybe more) running like a cereal company or chain of gyms or something. Public: We want A. Colt: But you're buying B. Public: Because you stopped making A, we want A. We'll pay for more A. Colt: Have some B. Public:
  22. Shut up and render unto Ceaser.
  23. KY and sizing lube are NOT cross compatible. In either direction.
  24. I'm not holding out great hope that this will get me spending wheel gun dollars over S&W or Ruger anytime soon. FortKnox mentioned rock island revolvers. Ihate to say it, but they look more like a Colt than this Colt does IMO. I'll reserve final judgment until I at least dry fire one a few times, but so far this is disappointing, and it could have been the best thing since sliced cake.
  25. I used balistol semi exclusively for a few years, but that had less to do with the merits of the product than it did a late night drunken purchase of the ultra mega sample pack they sell on amazon supplemented with a coupleathree spray bottles as souvenirs from smoky mountain knife works. That said I like the product fine and do believe it is seconded only by wd40 in usefulness around the house, and then only by a margin. I have a bunch of stuff in the big 303 can including but limited to hoppes, balistol, clp, ultra elite hoppes, remoil, rubbing alcohol, choke grease, military grease, etc. I'm particularly loyal to none of it, it all does what I want, but hoppes smells the best.
