  1. Is it something  I can drop off in the mail from Nashville? Cause we can make that happen  .
  2. Sounds more like a local management issue than a corporate one IMO. Have you tried discussing it with the store manager (not sectional manager)?
  3.     Actually when I got up this morning my hair was sticking straight up and out in a kind of sideways mohawk looking thing, I'm sure the resemblance of the back of my head to a turkey was astounding lol.
  4. Airports are not off limits unless posted, provided you are not entering the sterile area.
  5.     Ah, I thought you still had to register either way. Guess theres no line for me suckers, er, guys! :D
  6. I've got an extra backpack Larry, what day are you going?
  7. I'm just going to stand in line, I plan to arrive around lunch time to minimize my wait some. I figure the line for Jacks BBQ will be longer than registration by noon or so.
  8. If it's anything like the trade shows I've been to you wont be able to leave with out a backpacks worth of swag, just not possible.
  9. I love bacon and will go through a family sized package with ease if I keep it around. That in mind I love bacon not bacon flavoring, and I have never felt the need to put bacon on things I don't normally associate with bacon just to be daring. Bacon ice cream and crap like that need to go away so our pork back resources can be put to better uses. Like bacon.
  10.     That's the thing, the high point is a boringly reliable blowback design and the torture tests that others have done and filmed I wouldn't even come close to attempting with ANY of my centerfire pistols. Have you seen what iraqveteran8888 did to his on youtube? I hate to cite youtube as a source, but the video is relevant and well filmed.
  11. Sweet, me and my dad will be there tomorrow. Much more fun than the last gun shows I went to.
  12. Ridiculously good price, if I ever shot mine I'd pick some up for sure!
  13. Clearly there are some sad, pathetic little men out there.       Glad Brutus is being given a second chance in a loving home, he looks a little funny on those prosthetics now, but dogs have a pretty amazing ability to adapt and keep being dogs through situations like amputation. He's young so heres hoping he adapts and lives a long healthy life.
  14.     Satire maybe  maybe the Che shirt wearing kids are that big of a market share? In any case it's not like it's far off from the truth.
  15. Sorry for you're loss Tuffus. It does sound like he was surrounded by family and passed peacefully which is a small comfort, but a very real one. I'm glad he got to see one last win and share a moment with his granddaughter.
  16. I want to be a .327 fed fan, I really do. Hopefully the availability on the ammo will come up for at least one of the, what 1/2 dozen or so loads it will chamber and shoot. I remember being really stoked for the Blackhawk a few years ago but I'm not sure I've ever actually seen anything in .327 in person.
  17.   You can't be pulling stuff like that this early, some people are likely to have an aneurism if they haven't had their coffee yet.
  18. But I'd bet when you where putting on the barrel nut you had the whole thing viced up, so it feels like your putting more pressure on it now, but I'd bet a nickel it's not at 45lb. This is sounding exactly like how I felt prior to throwing it in the vise clamp lol I was stringing and fighting, then I put it in and aligned it with one hand as easy as turning a key in a lock.
  19. I used an upper receiver vise block to do my last A2 flash hider, it sure didn't seem like I was putting much at pressure at all to get it timed right. I thought about the barrel pin, but I was more concerned with the slot on the upper getting chewed up by the pin than getting sheared. I only needed to go from 6:00 to 12:00 so it was pretty easy going. If you'v got a torque wren I would put it in and see what you're working with resistance wise and if you feel comfortable, try and take it a bit tighter, since you've already crushed it a bit, I would bet you can go a bit further than before.
  20. The Gurkhas are some tough dudes. Lot's of incredible stories about them from the WWII era particularly. Among other things living in the high altitude and training vigorously there gives them what seems like super human strength and endurance. There was a ruckus awhile back where some WWII veterans where being denied some benefits in the UK, I hope they got it squared away for those guys. Plenty of dead nazis on their credentials.
  21.  Disagree. The projectile isn't the point on such a weapon, the concussion and flame are...
  22. I might have one or two 9mm floating around at home, I'll check tonight and get them your way if so.
  23.     Pricey stuff these days though, I suppose it might not be too bad for a few chunks the size of knife scales. It would be pretty for sure.     I would suggest looking for pau ferro for a similar looking wood. Both have a very tight grain and look awesome polished up.
  24. I'd rather trust a gun I've never shot than walk around unarmed
