1. Poor Nazario, it looks like he had such a bright future ahead of him.    I want the same Compton tat, but mine would say 'PIZZA4LIF". Any TGOers got a tattoo gun or a cassette player and a guitar string?
2. I'm in for a weekend range/Shoneys trip, but I think it should be in that order. I can do a number to a buffet table and I'm loathe to do much of anything beside maybe clean guns and nap after.
3. Theres just something inherently bad ass about that rig. It's like if Quigly did have much use for a revolver, thats how it would be decked out. I imagine it's tough finding holsters though? IWB probably next to impossible :D ...
4. It looks like it's in great shape. If it were my dad I'd ask about a family rate and snag it for sure.
5. Looks good dude! What are you using for the charging handle, the bearing/detent one?   I bet that thing shoots sooper soft...   We need to go shooting sometime soon, maybe get the Shoneys crew out?
6. outside coil or inside coil?    When did you have the coil cleaned last year?   If it's an outside coil and you had it cleaned in say early June before the cottonwood bloomed, then had it cleaned this year AFTER it bloomed, then you'd have two seasons of the crap in there. I talked to an HVAC guy out here last year for some roof top units and he advised to always wait until after it bloomed to do any cleaning if possible lest it just get fouled up again in a months time or so.
7. A little light reading to go along with your drum 'o lube?    http://www.amazon.com/Ass-Goblins-Auschwitz-Cameron-Pierce/dp/1933929936/ref=pd_sim_sbs_121_4?ie=UTF8&refRID=02FHKPRGHFS4HBFPRF0J
8. I'd say you're brother and the mutant won. ;)
9. I like guns and leather and nashville armory the best in the area so far. NA is significantly closer so they see me more often, but I've never been treated any less than family at G&L.
10. You have been talking about looking for a project for a bit now..... and that would be a seriously cool rifle.
11.     Me? No.   You? Maybe. ;)
12.   If HP is in, I'm in....     Dang. :(                     Sooooo, group buy on CZ rifles?
13. If we're getting explantations, I got some questions too.     1. Too, two, to, WTF? I mean really? Explain that!   2. Magnets, how do those even work? Witches?   3. If Ted left his house at 6:35AM and arrived at work at 7:40AM, worked 3 hours before lunch and then worked another 4 hours after, how much pizza did Ted eat for lunch?   4. Potato or potato? Why?   5. Remember that guy form MacGyver? Not MacGyver, but his one friend who helped him out sometimes, what was his name?   6. Can you feel the love tonight?   7. Will we ever have a gay black albino women president? Would being a "little person" hurt or help the campaign?   8. Why do I always get so sleepy right before I go to sleep?   9. Have you seen my wallet?   10. Can I have $20.00?       Since there is apparently a secret TGO hierarchy I wasn't aware of and I've been here longer than the OP, I think it would be in poor form to address his grievances before tackling my list.    You didn't have anything important to do anyways today, right David? ;)
14. Good deal Spots! Especially in this day and age of MMA cage fight interest, it's awesome to know the old stuff is still being taught effectively.
15. Oh man, I am so stoked.   I had heard they green lit it on some youtube video awhile back, but that was all for long enough to almost forget about it until it came up in chat one night. I really didn't want a next generation console, but I guess this plus the new Batman coming out kind of seals the deal for me.    Now I guess I have to figure out who to throw my money at.
16. Whichever method you end up choosing you'll have a really cool little rifle if you leave the end threaded and get the sight replaced. I love my M69, plenty accurate and built tough enough to last near forever I would guess.    Has the receiver been drilled and tapped for a scope rail?
17. Charlie is a true American original. One of the nicest folks I've ever met and without fail will ask after my family and how they're doing. He's also a hell of a shot and a wealth of information regarding all things shooting that he has been very free with.    You won't find a more likable proprietor for just about any kind of business.
18. Today, some Skydog of a different flavor.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0y8Q2PATVyI   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGdxpnGK2o4
19. Congrats GJ! :D
20. carter was a weenie, but he did less to damage the constitution than Reagan. Just food for thought, but aside from being a pushover maybe he had at least some of the right idea in what I can only imagine was a "do as little as possible" administration.    Hell  I wish we could have 4-8 years of someone doing as little as possible now, if only so we can catch up to where we are.
21. Big difference between hyperbole and premeditation. Also a big difference between taking away someones rights and giving them a well deserved kick in the crotch.   I bet if you tried rephrasing your question just a little bit you would most likely get the answer I think you you're looking for providing you're looking for a serious conversation.   The above is just juvenile.
22.   It does work instinctively on dogs, just a quick pop in the air has sent a pretty mean stray with his tail between his legs according to my buddy who carries one. For it to work on humans they'd need to hear it and recognize it, not likely in a high stress scenario where they're beating someone down as in your example. I think you'd pop it in th air a few times and they wouldn't even hear it.   Another thing to consider with the handheld models is you zap someone and the happen to be touching you or even close enough to touch you when they git hit, you just got hit. I would personally say in general if its a situation that needs physical involvement yet wouldn't meat the criteria for lethal force your best bet would probably be pepper spray or just jumping in, maybe both. As far as spraying the possible victim with the attackers, I wouldn't worry about it. Rather be pepper sprayed than beaten up any day of the week lol. Plus the same rule above applies, you'd probably have zapped them with the stun gun.
23. All I can say is  I100% support burning a flag if thats really your thing. I don't agree with it, but I won't do more than call you an asshole.   I also 100% support spots kicking the shit out someone over it. I don't agree with it, but I wouldn't do more than tell him to GTFO of dodge while I talk to the cops either. ;)   Guess that makes me a big ole hypocrite doesn't it.
24. Yup, but it also usually gives a little red number at the top of the page as well to let you know if theres anyone in at all at a quick glance anywhere on the forum.
