I've had very limited interactions with Rossi's, seems to me the nice ones are nice and the poor ones are poor. Sounds like you found a good one. If the chambers all index correctly and it shoots straight you should have a nice revolver that you don't have to worry to much about scratching. When I was younger and first started driving I used to have a problem with locking my keys in the car. AAA was a life saver on many swperate occasions. Had to have two cars towed at two seperate times and if time was not of the essence would have had them install a spare. I'd recommend them whole heartedly even if your doubling up on roadside coverage if its something you can comfortably afford, AAA is nation wide while your standard road side assistance may not be. Plus I believe RSA still gives you access to AAA rates at hotels and what not which can add up on a long trip.

I'd try G&L first, they've got so much stuff there. Franklin Gun Shop will most likely have them but I'd rather buy online than give them my business. You could try D&T as well, they're good people. Can't imagine BassPro not having them, prefer to shop at independent mom'n'pop though.

It seems the kookyness never goes away it just changes sides. I'd have to say just about every whack job theory I've heard about Obama canceling elections, declaring himself dictator and rounding up disarmed citizens to herd into FEMA camps I've heard at one point and time about Bush as well. The faces have changed but the theory's are the same load of crap regardless. What really cracks me up is that in both cases there are so many legitimate issues that I just can't understand why someone would resort to grasping at straws. Especially stupid straws that make you sound so crazy, that intelligent people begin to dismiss anything you say out of hand. Oh well, like I said I haven't heard anything original yet out of either party, I'm sure it's even more obvious to some of you guys that have been paying attention decades longer than me.

Ouch! My dad used to load the revolver with spent shells, 38s and 357s at random. A great way to teach a little kid about managing the flinch reflex and something I've done several times now myself when introducing new shooters to the sport. Never had anyone wang their noggin though.

Incredibly stupid. In a case like this I would be torn between speaking up and attempting to correct the behavior or heading as far away from the maniac as possible. The worst part is that guy is the role model to those kids, I'm sure everyone here has had one of those moments where someone tries to correct something their dad taught them. It's typically a losing argument, if it was good enough for dad it's good enough for me kind of thing. Now there's two more young people in this world who may grow up to think its fine to stick a gun someone's face, as long as its "not loaded". What a piece of work.

The p95 is a great pistol, solid and reliable. Pricing seems to be up and down the last year or so, my brother for one last Jan for $315 plus tax and I have seen them as high as $350. I would probably just hang onto it even I'd it means waiting on getting something else. For the amount of $$ you'll get for it on the used market it's just not worth it IMO.

I wouldn't worry about your rifle, yours is but one of many guns in a place that most likely knows how to treat them. It can be frustrating but I wouldn't worry too much about it. My retail experience says not to bother them too much just on principal, them slowing down a process just means more interaction with you and if your being a PITA no one wants that. Understand I don't think your being one, I would have already called them. A lot of times your attitude has more to do with anything then say volume of calls. If your pleasant with them I can't see any harm asking about the status of the order or even asking for an estimated time when it should be ready for pickup.

I believe it means there's no more "AW" for sale. Whatever you already own is yours, grandfathered in so to say but good luck getting new regular capacity magazines. Old ones will be available at a high premium but the cost will be outrageous. I'm not sure if uppers get thrown on the banned wagon or just lowers, either way it is unfortunately time to stock up.
