I've got a good mental list going of places that I will never spend another dime at since this has all happened. Also have a list of places that I will gladly spend my $ at.
Same here. In a way it's a good thing, it shows a sellers true colors when things like this happen. There are more than a few "gun stores" who I will not spend a dime with after this, and more than a few doing things right who I look forward to supporting. The ironic thing is that we tend to here a lot about how we shouldn't be buying ammo/guns/accesories from places like Walmart or sporting good stores when they by and large have not changed prices at all. (Dicks excluded) Can't say the same about many gun specific shops.

Have you had any backlash because you are a gunner?

That is unbelievable. Some people are sick in the head, I think you did right dropping the issue. -
Yeah Wally has changed from Winchester to Blackhawk. I got the last whinchester at my Walmart for about $20 when they changed stock. I think the Blackhawk one will work fine. It looked exactly the same to me.

Death wish, death wish 2, death wish 3. Just about any Charlie Bronson movie really. The mechanic was pretty good.
Excellent video. I bet when you compare England and ours # of firearms per capita and the fact our violent crime is a fraction of theirs it'd make fienstien implode.
People like Fiendtien don't base their beliefs on silly little things like facts or statistics. They go with gut feelings and emotion. She'd shrug that off like water off a ducks back.

Personally is get today what I may not be able get tomorrow. I would ask, have you got a good lead on either of the rifles? Seems both are hard to get ahold of just now. Either one is a fine choice so I wouldn't worry too much either way. On the saiga, one thing to consider is that you will most likely end up converting it to an AK if its in its stock configuration. That will take some extra $$$ but can be done later. I would put the conversion money into ak mags and ammo for now. The marlin is good to go and will make a fine companion price to any revolver chambered in the same round. Ammo is easier to find for the 38/357 right now as well. Good luck on your decision, its a tough one.

Only placed one order with SOG and was not impressed. Ordered a Walther P1 advertised as excellent condition, payed the extra for hand select and got a pistol that looked like it had been dragged behind a truck. The front site was poorly fitted, the finish is pitted and worn through, the rails are pretty chewed up looking. Just not good at all. The worse part is I spent $30 more than I would have T AIM or wideners and everything I've ordered through AIM has been super clean. Wideners includes two mags a holster and cleaning kit. Just not impressed with SOG. Probably should have called and let them know why I'm none to keen on them but figured instead ill wait for something else I want and give them a second chance. Practices like raising prices after the sale make me reconsider that second chance.

Seriously he's involving Biden in ANOTHER project involving guns?! Worked real well on the last one did it?

That's where I'm coming from Will H. So many people here would never think of leaving home without a gun because they are the most efficient way to protect you and yours, would you be without the most effective tool for comunication? Keep in mind you are statistically less likely to use a firearm in self defense within two lifetimes than you are to have a legitimate use for a phone. Personally I would not step foot in any business that used them, more pleasant movie experience or not.

Glad no one was hurt. Like you said the stuff can be replaced, provided he wasn't sitting on 25k of 223 then it may take awhile. Also kind of disproves the "dropped my bullets and got shot" theory. You'd figure if 25,000 can go off with out incident there's not much of a leg to stand on.
Really good for bomb squads working on on a cell trigger
I should probably amend my previous statement, I have heard of mostly petty reasons to use them. As with most anything there are good uses and bad uses. A bomb squad using one to jam a signal on a remotely detonated bomb is a good use, turning one on in a store/movie theater because your offended by others cell usage is not. I don't think they should be illegal, but anyone who uses one capable of effecting others outside of their property should be fined.
-
No problems for me. Using a smart phone FWIW.
-
Personally I'm glad. Haven't heard a single legitimate use yet for them, just a bunch of petty crap.

"I have a sad story to tell you, it just may offend you a bit. This morning I walked in the bathroom, and stepped in a big pile of ssshhhh...aving cream, so nice and clean, shave every morning and you'll always feel keen"

The hard ways the best way. I'm sure someone here can put them to good use and recoup your investment

One other point that could be made is that the range in question is relatively new. I would like to think that with the best intentions the management underpriced the amount necessary to keep the range going on a day to day level. After a few months they corrected the issue to ensure a decent return on their large investment. I plan on a membership soon myself just based on the service I have had. One other issue, you mentioned high prices? They may not have the cheapest pricing on everything but these are the same folks who had the elusive SR1911 for under $700 when people were selling them used for $850 or more. I'd like to see the stock grow much larger but they are running a great business IMO. -
Oh man those were .40s?! Lol, sometimes it pays to be suspicious when things are too easy. Hopefully the guys at APD will let you bring them back.
Bought 2 G17's with night sights excellent condition from CDNN sports for 389 a piece last week, dunno if they have any left
CDNN has suspended Internet orders due to high volume. At least that's the message I got when I tried to check their page last night or the night before. Things are getting pretty screwy out there.
