I don't know, if someone were to have pulled that crap with my dad it would have ended verbally guaranteed. As a LEO he was certainly not going to engage in a physical altercation over words. That's fine considering he has a way of speaking to idiots that lets them know in no uncertain terms that they are beneath the conversing with. Mom on the other hand might have just started swinging.

Now then is indeed the time to watch closely. I won't be boycotting magpul if the move isn't viable but I sure hope they jump ship fast.

I'd say scope it with see through rings so you can use you irons for quick targeting at close range.

Wow that came out looking great. Good job on that.

How to acquire your C&R FFL license
TrickyNicky replied to ironsniper1's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
I've been thinking much the same. It seems like there are just too few options right now, the really good stuff is drying up or gone and we're quickly approaching a time where the next generation of surplus won't qualify for C&R status. I've still got 2.5 years on mine, enough time to grab a few more Nagants and maybe some other neat stuff but I don't see the point if my options are going to be so limited. I'm only like 20 min away from D&T and they give us a great deal on transfers so may just let mine run out if nothing strikes my fancy in the next 2.5 years. I would like to grab a HiPower first but that's about it for now. -
I've only been in their old shop once but I was very impressed at the work I saw in their showroom. Great bunch of guy there too, took time out of their day to recommend some local sights and attractions, of course I was there to meet up with Dolomite so that may have been to my favor. Either way I would feel comfortable trusting them with any project I wanted to come out just right.

New grips for my Single Six.

Whatch out for that rattlesna... Oh wait, those are the grips. Looking good! -
You know I love it! I have to agree, the stuff is much cleaner than bourbon or whiskey. Also makes a great household disinfectant if not a spendy one. I hadn't heard that song before, thanks for sharing.

So wait, did they actually pass this? I thought it just made it to the house for the vote. I'm really hoping that magpul sticks to their word and pulls out should it pass, I think it's likely that they will.

Anyone know where to find this? Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale
TrickyNicky replied to vontar's topic in General Chat
Brixxs pizza in cool springs also has it on tap as I've found out tonight, to the delight of my taste buds. -
I'm just hoping finances fall back in line so that I can jump on the first DPMS AR10 I run across there for under $1000.00 I never new I wanted one until they were all gone.

Yup, that Golden Grain will do that to ya. Enjoy responsibly.

Not trying to be a dick but welcome to 2013. Been this way since the school shooting, numerous threads on the topic already. FWIW I don't think the antis are behind the disappearance of ammo, we as gun owners have been doing that job well enough already.

Just apply for a new one, costs I think the same and you can ditch your old log book. -

This.^^ I think a lot of antis have the misconception that getting rid of guns will solve the violence problem. This is of course false, humans by nature are an incredibly violent species, in the days before guns there was still much violence and while I've never seen some shot I can't imagine it being more horrific than seeing someone hacked to death with a machete of bludgeoned with a pipe. Beat down with a cactus? That sounds absolutely awful for everyone involved. The bottom line is until we ban baseball bats, knifes, screwdrivers, 2x4s, cacti, shovels, hammers, cars, bricks, sticks, chains, socks full of quarters, etc. there will always be violence and there will always be victims. Personaly, I'll do my best to keep myself from being a victim with the best possible tools at my disposal. In this case we all know what that is.

I think they actually have quite a bit of give. The show I saw I remember them driving up curbs, over parking lot concrete block things(what the heck are those even called?) and through ditches and potholes.

I'm not doing anything wrong, if the ATF wants to sell at rock bottom prices I'd just consider it a return on the invesment of my tax dollars. Shoot, I'd gladly shop with them if the price was right.

I do seem to remember swing these a few years back in regards to possible military applications. Glad to see them on the civilian market, depending on what kind of mileage they get I'd consider some next time I need new tires.

That's what I mean, I can't immediately tell if we won or list on that one. Oh well, it inspired a new fashion for Mike at least, now he's hip.
