  1.     Does group showers infer standing out on the lawn en masse and getting hosed off with garden hose?     Why do people keep asking that? :squint:
  2. Guys, I gave Sam a heads up already but thought it was important for you all to know, this guy is a fraud. He took classes for less than two weeks at the TrickyNicky Tactical Somersault Assault Training Academy Dojo and is now attempting to use my carefully cultivated techniques to open his own school. I'm all for the free market, but his training was incomplete. We hadn't even covered low drag- high impact cartwheels yet  How does he expect to give people the value for their monies without knowing my patented backwards shotgun roll? You all have been warned, if you want QUALITY buffoonery, er, training, look no further than the TNTSATAD. TGOers enjoy free parking validation (I'll tell my neighbors it's cool if you park on their lawn) and a complementary after workout self-rubdown (some alone time in the shower) and so many more perks your heads would explode like some kinda exploding things if you attempted to take it all in in one sitting. Group rates available.
  3. Charo was old before I was new (31) I'd say she has held up friggin great. Plus she can shred on the guitar like nobody's business. Charo = super hot.
  4. I can see it doing ok as an attraction/museum/rentable facility, kinda like the queen Mary in San Diego. As a viable busines hosting olde timey cruises for the uber rich... Well I know a pipe dream when I hear one.   Would be cool as hell to see, but also probably a bit of a let down if they use 'vintagy kinda looking' prefab materials for all the detailed eye candy like railing, cases, etc. Lots of room to go from illconcieved to down right hokey.       I'll pass.
  5. Wait, Guns and Leather has a radio show?! That's awesome! What's the stations handle, wonder if I can stream it down here.
  6. I'm down in the big dirty now dog lol. Rockin and Rollin in the ATL.
  7. You should have known better when I was in from jump street
  8. You, me and everyone else who laughed is going ta hell.
  9. Man that sucks. Hope he's able to overcome, I like his reviews and he seems like one of the good guys.
  10. I'm pretty sure that golden playground standard of 'he who smelt it, dealt it' will have you covered here. I've shot some stanky ammo before, but usually that's milsurp with a more noticeable acrid/ammonia smell than usual. Last box of 9mm mak I bought was pricey Federal defense rounds. They cost a lot but they didn't stink
  11. I voted yes even though I don't live in TN now. Would this be a vanity style front plate or tn.gov sanctioned rear plate? Either way would be super cool.

  13. I've bought more than I sold on Craigslist. I look for well worded ads with a decent description and always assume that cash in hand will work a small discount buying or selling unless the price is already on the low end of reasonable. If the item is exactly as described or better I will always pay full asking price if we've worked out a TBD arrangement prior. I've done some good trades before, but I find again it helps to be preemptive and clearly define a wide but firm set of parameters ahead of time. If the ad says no trades I figure that's what it means. I always insist on talking on the phone to hash out the details and usually in a fairly brief phone call I can tell if I want to meet the person with a bunch of cash. I'm usually dealing with guitar equipment, so I'll try and get a conversation going about the item and ask what kind of music they played, and what kind of amp they are playing through, or whatever and see if the answers made any sense. Bearing in mind I'm shopping for and selling gear in the same price ranges as guns,($300-$2,000) I generally expect the person to know something about the subject, and all of the people I've met have been more than happy to compare notes and talk gear. I'll usually feel pretty solid if I can feel out that the person is ligit enough sounding.

    ....

I'm rather ambivalent, but the consensus seems pretty clear IMHO...
  15. PM sent.
  16. I don't see how he'll have time for either given he's supposed to declare marital law (or something like that) and pronounce himself king dictator for life at some point before the elections right?
  17. I wrote an essay once. It was a nice letter too, he didn't write me back though, maybe he moved, maybe we're not essays anymore  If I had to write one again, in this case I'd just grit my teeth and use a few 8.5x11" sheets of paper as TP and send that in, there's there essay and they can eat it for a snack later as far as I'm concerned.
  18. Since this is the umpteenth thread on the subject, I feel compelled to ask; Why change anything at all?
  19. Little Chicago for a pie style pizza that can't be beat. 5 points pizza for hipster specialty pizza that is expensive but delicious. I've heard great things about Joeys, just never did make the time sadly. I used to call the corner of my kitchen Mount St. Pizza Box and only clear it out when the Mnt. Would reach chest height every 2-3 weeks. I eat a lot of pizza. Damn, now I'm craving a Chocago style pie....
  20. This forking guy^  It does seem to be working for me as of a minute or two ago though.
  21. Friend of mine in CA of all places has a set of Calicos and highly recommends them. They have their own idiosyncrasies, but are a a cool weapon nonetheless. I wouldn't imagine they are still below Comms budget, though IIRC they weren't much higher. High cyclical rate, low felt recoil, bottom ejection... Lot to love. Having to load and then charge the spring for 50 and 100 round mags sucks though, as does their spring issue with loving fully loaded mags fully charged under tension. Super neat, but I personally think Calico got about 1/2 way through designing the perfect PCP, then threw it to market.
  22. They did. Lot of pretty big name in the flick too. Ralph Machio, Something Dylan, or Dylan Whatshisface, Patrick Swayze even IIRC. Them and a whole lot of people who where lucky to do a Pepsi commercial after. Succes and fame be temperamental mistresses.
  23. Hmm, so an outlawish duck dynasty type deal I guess. I could dig that. I still haven't gotten my internet up and burned through a lot of data last month so I didn't watch the clip BTW :p Although if you want to talk loosing faith, when I moved I "got the last of the ammo" out no less than three times  . Even then on the last few days I found near a gallon sized ziplock worth of a box of .22 or three, some mosin ammo, misc pistol and rifle rounds, and a 100 round value pack of 12 gauge birdshot. :stunned: Luckily at my new place I have room to spread out some. Hopefully confining the ammo to one room for storage will work out if I can actually dedicate some real space to it and get it organized. Maybe I can even start reloading finally.
  24. I was on earlier for a minute seemed right on my end. Thanks David! A core group of us really do use and love the feature. You've made all 9 of us very happy.
  25. I thought this was about the movie about the book about the greasers. With Soda, and Johnny, and the soces. Never seen this one, what's it about?
