For cleaning the barrel...
TrickyNicky replied to Steelharp's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
Another balistol guy here but out of the two you own break free. I think gun scrubber would be for if you had a significant amount of fouling, I've never felt the need for anything that abrasive. -
Owns more hair care products than his wife.

They were terrible last year, would be surprised if they were much better this year.

California up to new tricks...
TrickyNicky replied to Worriedman's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Seen this coming a long ways off, surprised it took this long actually. As a former resident LA county I'm already all to familiar with being fingerprinted to purchase ammo. Also familiar with driving 30minutes to Culver City to avoid the hassle. ;) -
Man, so glad you guys are ok. I'm going to copy and paste your first post to send to a few choice family members who think its fine to talk on the phone any old time behind the wheel and texting at red lights. Had you been looking down at your phone you may not have noticed her coming up behind you and turned the wheel and let off the brake.

It's an oldie but goody.

Seems to come and go in waves here. It's been quiet for awhile but it seems that its back on again. Of course it also seems as though common sense comes and goes in waves here too, it seems many weren't buying a little while ago but now are again.

Not sure it starts and stops with Kim. He seems more a puppet than his father.

The first daughters are at it again...
TrickyNicky replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
But that's just it, it's not our dime anymore. The money goes to pay the salary of the POTUS. What he does with it is up to a point none of our business. The secret service protection is just a part of the job, I doubt we'd even be having that part of the conversation if we had a more popular pres in office. If you don't want the president to be payed or to be payed less thats fine, but if you think we have a lack of quality people running now just wait to see who runs knowing they have to foot the bill for their tenure. If you worked for a company, lets call it Amerex, and the board of directors decided that you could no longer use the money from your salary to buy guns/ammo/range time/beer/cigarettes etc. you'd most likely tell them to get stuffed. Now isn't that fair? After all, YOUR money is really THEIR money. They the people elected to hire you, your salary comes out of their pocket, so should they be able to decide how you do or do not spend it? As to all this talk about what Obama is doing with his money (and once again, make no mistake it is his money now) while the common man suffers is start to sound a bit Occupy/socialist to my ears. I think we are being way to easily distracted from the real issues by this nonsense. O could most likely pass any number of EOs and as long as he made sure to do it while on vacation and spending an armful of cash if would take back seat to the fact that "he's wasting our (his) money" Just to reiterate if you've made it this far, I'm not by any stretch an O fan, but we do pay his salary right or wrong (wrong IMO) and no, we can't dictate that he not go on vacation just because we don't like him. Rant off. -
Looking for some practice advice on Guitar.

More important than scales IMO is getting to know your chord shapes and how they move and work around the neck. Also, highly recommend a good teacher, the progress you will make under the tutelage of a real proffesional is nothing short of amazing. Best investment you can make, even better than a new set of custom hand wound pickups. ;) -
If you wanted to would it be possible to take some good steel, turn it into a RR spike then beat it into a knife? A lot of work I'm sure, but if you really want a nice one...

Not sure I see the problem. Maybe someone could enlighten me, is there a seperate amount above and beyond his tax paid salary being used for this or are we just gripping that he's our president again? If he's footing the bill out of salary then IMO its none of our business. If he's spending additional tax dollars we have a problem. Just trying to find out if we are on to something or just on something. -

Court order? Angry husband looking for you? You can't set us up like that and then not deliver... -
Spots makes the Chuck Norris of Bowie knives. They pretty much are invincible. Really digging those two, I'd just bet that they would take care of most any camp needs very well. One of these days I have to pony up and have you build something small and handy for me. The more I see of your work, the more I get to thinking what I actually want/need in a blade.

I searched for a good gun forum for quite awhile. I actually joined up while on my last vacation to Tn before moving here. Really glad I did, I've had the privledge to meet a few of you guys face to face and every time I've come away feeling like I just spent time with a person of quality. I've got no need for any other forum.

mosin nagant tactical stock
TrickyNicky replied to airgun13's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Hey I used to have a 95 Subaru Legacy wagon with performance wheels and tires. It might have looked a little funny but that was one bad a$$ ride! If the Nagant with Arcangel stock is half as cool it will be good to go. -
I second that motion. Fellas? Come on guys we've got two serious issues to vote on here. Rock the vote or die.

TrickyNicky replied to airgun13's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
That's the plan for me. I'm keeping an eye out for local bubba'd examples. Once I find the right one I may just snap it up and go ahead and order one of these bad boys. I really like the look of it and the detachable mag is a cool feature. Mostly, and I'm not ashamed to admit it, this will be just to look cool. -
I take it they 18 1,000 round boxes for $750each. I'd spend $750 on 18,000 rounds in a heart beat lol.

For the second time today; I want my two minutes back. Another rousing pile of crap straight from crap town.
