An interesting read Lester. Particularly the bit about the one in Santa Barbra closing last was interesting. People say Ca is a totally libtard state which is only mostly true, Santa Barbra however is as blue as anywhere on this earth, interesting they were able to hold out so long.

Sorry, can't for the life of me find the thread where one of you all was looking for a Nashville based locksmith/safe tech. Let me know via PM and I'll get you my guys info.

Keep in mind I'm not advocating having kids shooting as toddlers, merely stating that under a certain set of circumstances it may not be any more dangerous than shooting sports already inherently are. I do think 6 is probably a good age if for no other reason than lessons hammered home at that age tend to stick through adolescence.

Excellent job! What's the rig? Not sure if you've posted it before but obviously it does the job. I'm sure I've got something in mind that will do it that I'm working on but its good to see what others are using. Either way I need to brush up on my shooting to have a shot at hitting something like that.

I'll get you the name of the guy we use at work. He's an old timer in the Nashville area who is a pleasure to work with. May be cheaper out there, don't know and don't care, he does solid enough work and has made several "emergency" visits for us after layoffs that involve safe combo and door lock changes.

A 2 year old could probably safely shoot under the right set of strict circumstances, just do is all a favor and don't take videos or photos and post them on the webz. I personally thing 6 is probably a good age to let the little ones get some trigger time.

Boo! It's all about the Krystal's burgers!! They put a spanking on White Castle any day of the week. Incidentally, there is apparently an indeterminent time period where someone who was born a Yankee can repent and become a good southerner. The timeframe is different for everyone though and no one can say for sure just what an individuals timeframe is. Me myself, I guess I'll always be a Yankee one way or the next, oh well. Hey, any of you all try the new Doritos taco at Taco Bell? Mas Piccanty...

Could be a slow form of career suicide not to anymore? Of course depending on your after work interests, it could be a fast form if you do.

Pretty much what 6.8 said. Don't want your boss to see it, don't post it on the web. One of the reasons I never went for MySpace or Facebook to begin with. If you do feel the social media itch, keep two pages, one for work the other for regular friends. That's what my sister does, she's a teacher in Brentwood and regularly friends her students parents and other coworkers. It's a great tool for her to be able to use to keep up with her students parents but somehow I tend to doubt that they'd be thrilled to read some of the things her other friends post regarding religion, sexuality, politics etc. This way she can give advise on a students project at 9:30PM and keep up on a NSFW conversation with her friends at the same time.

East Nash has Eddleys BBQ. Pretty good stuff there, get some pulled pork nachos on homemade potato chips and follow it up with my favorite, a Kermit with a fried egg on top. Delicious!!

Aw hell with it. I liked it, now its time to man up and like it.

There is irony here. What I find ironic is what healthy people can and cannot eat. Take a super healthy person, one who eats leafy greens with every meal and never goes above their aloted calorie intake and has cut red meat out of their diet (or better yet a vegetarian or best of all a vegan) No take said healty person who's body is a fine tunes machine, and take them out for a big ole greasy pizza or burgers. They'll be sick as a dog every time. How is that healthy? My stomach can probably digest rocks. I know for a fact it can handle amounts of pulled pork butt that would choke a donkey. Now that's healthy! My stomach may be groing, but I can ways buy bigger pants. My endurance may be shot, but what the hell, I drive everywhere anyway. The important thing is that for me and my ilk, there is no such thing as an inedible meal. Clean living is overrated.

 I'm not at sure what to do here. Part of me wants to like your post for being clever and on topic, there's another part that's afraid if I like it I'll be ostracized from my fellow TGO'ers. Then there's a third part of me that wants to throw up. I'm such a homophobe.

Pretty much guaranteed that by page 7 just about any thread will devolve into a conversation about gays. For a bunch who like to take the "I don't care but I don't want it rubbed in my face or even really discussed" stance on homosexuality, y'all sure like talking about it a lot.

The one in Birmingham closes at 11:00PM central.

Gotcha, I had forgotten about the issue with the LC9 and never knew you picked up a lite model. Definetly reasonable complaints and I'd be P.Oed too.

Mrs. Ted Nugent Arrested With Gun At Airport
TrickyNicky replied to waynesan's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Well, I probably should have done the smart thing and stressed that my response is my opinion as well. Having said that I still feel as though its just not likely that Ted would have submitted his wife to, or in any way approves of the use of his wife in this fashion. I foresee two possible ends. 1. Ted and Mrs. Nugent apologize, pay some fines and move on with life without trying to rock the boat to hard. That's my most likely guess, I think if Ted wanted or planned to make an issue out tod this we would have already heard about it. 2. Ted being his guns to town. He utilizes his public figure and political influence within the NRA to bring awareness to the situation and protest a policy that is not going to change. Actually a third scenario occurres to me, it is possible that senario 1. begins but number two takes over if "they" throw the book at Mrs. Nugent. -
Mrs. Ted Nugent Arrested With Gun At Airport
TrickyNicky replied to waynesan's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
But that's just it, you think there is any way in hell Uncle Ted would subject HIS WIFE to arrest and a potential loss of rights just to prove HIS point?! No way. If this had been intentional it would have been Mr. Nugent in the papers. Sorry I just can't believe that a man of his conviction would agree to endangering his wife in way, including having her break a law and be subject to arrest. -
Well she's not my anything, cept possibly my future sister in law, but my brothers girlfriend will automatically gravitate tword my dads S&W 66. Not too odd I suppose as its a fantastic shooting revolver with a glass like trigger, but being as she's 20 and want much into guns or shooting before she got hooked up with my brother it is still interesting. Glad y'all are enjoying the Ruger, like I said, its a great gun that's sure to become a range favorite! I said that, right? No? Hmmm, Oh well, glad you guys are enjoying it anyway.

I'll have to check it out, sucks that Bill Ward is absent though. I always thought that Tony and Ozzy got a bit too much credit for the earlier stuff. Yeah they are chief songwriter and front man, but IMO the tightest two were Ward and Butler.

Bingo. I'm not going to even look this one up. Best case scenario, I'm not outraged. Worst case, my blood pressure starts going up before bed time.

Oh man, that freaking Glock has brought more mirth and merriment to the forum than one could reasonably expect. Kinda wish now that I had bought it, that's a true life TGO collectors item.
