What is going on lately?! It seems we are having an awful lot of 2A victories this week. To be honest its makin me a bit nervous.

I'm in for one or two lowers and possibly uppers depending on price.

One nice thing about Costco is being able to get tires there. What's the big deal? You may ask. Where else can you get name brand tires at a great price with a fantastic warranty, and use that warranty while on vacation half way around the country? When I was living in LA I had originally gone out there on a vacation and just ended up staying. My car was in Tn with my folks who eventually ended up driving it out to me in Ca. Before they left they put on new tires as they'd been driving on my old ones for at this point a little over a year and they were already old. Fast forward a few months to me waking up to a flat tire. No biggie, throw on the donut, head over to Costco and an hour later drive off with a brand new tire and rotation for the others. Cost out pocket for that? Zilch, nada, nothing. Hard to beat their chocolate chip muffins either.

I didn't buy for the better part of last year and most of this one. Little by little I've been stocking up again through local retailers and a bit online. I've bought probably 3k-4k worth of 22lr in that time frame, all reasonably priced (as in MSRP) if not exactly what most people are looking for. I'm hurting on the cheap value pack stuff but I'm doing well on CB, subsonic and other specialty rounds. I'm not a fan of those going out and intentionally making things hard for their fellow man, I'd love to start a group locally that shows up before the gougers at Walmart and buys all the stock to either shoot or even sell at retail pricing. Plus we could talk about what we were doing loud enough for the gougers to hear, hopefully they'd feel enough shame to head home and rethink their priorities, but I doubt it.

The Academy Sports in Cool Springs looked the same way. They even had a 500rnd can of 223. Emphasis on the "had". Also was able to grab some brown box buck shot and some 357. Like old times. :)

I'm not all that versed to be honest. I can say that from the examples I've seen if you are used to S&Ws and Colts, you may be disappointed.

Pretty basic and well worth the cost when you take into account that its very easy to sell here. A good rule of thumb for you, post your gun for sale/trade and list a cash price and your trade interests. If after a week you still have it with no interested potential buyers its time to knock $20 off the price. Repeat until you feel that your at your bottom price. Good deals get gone here fast.

Some people say that the mag disconnect contributes to a gritty trigger. This is probably true though in my case its not to bad. The LCI or loaded chamber indicator is just ugly, I don't think I've read anything that would indicate that they cause any real issues at all. Just don't flow well with the lines of the design. Oh the mag disconnect also makes it so you have an extra step in the take down and reassembly, also hear reports that it slows the trajectory of magazines being ejected. I'll most likely ditch the disconnect but the LCI is there to stay. It doesn't bother me at all.

My very loose understanding is that laws are enforced to the letter of the law. In the example above I agree with Robert, had the law makers wanted concealed carry only, they should have said so very clearly as in FL law. Of course, IANAL, this is not legal advice only an opinion from someone who couldn't even play a lawyer on TV.

Very true sir. I know a bronie, he doesn't have the cardboard armor and horn (that I'm aware of) but man he is sure into the whole MLP thing. Kinda funny actually, he's a veteran who spends his free time watching a show meant for little girls. I don't get it, but I guess I don't have to.

This is a tough one to be sure. Just for food for thought one can be considered legally blind and still have enough eyesight to identify a threat, at least in theory. I'm really torn about this and it is something that has crossed my mind in the past. I'm going to say that rights are rights, maybe the NRA can work with a blind advocacy group to come up with a course? I know if I were kind I sure as hell wouldn't want my rights taken from me, on the other hand I doubt I would carry in public out of personal responsibility, but that is MY choice.
