That's the kind of funny family story others just don't get, here you are making some very serious and trying phone calls, doing what no one ever wants to do but must be done, and your mom and sis are having a chat over coffee. I think my old one may still be ok and it's still got plenty of room on it. I'm really just procrastinating on buying the right screwdriver to take apart the HD case. If the old ones fried I'll grab one off amazon, I think I get prime shipping these days.

Not doing a lot of online gaming these days as my old Xbox took a dump on me and I bought a 4gig to take its place. Once I upgrade the hard drive I'll be on a lot more.

My Midway orders come through like lightning. Every time they estimate 4 days for delivery and every time they're there in 2-3. OP, do you live in a more rural area? That can add some time depending on who carries the package.

Um well, er, not exactly. There are many, MANY unmollested AR15's, FALs, etc in civilian possession, legally in the state of CA. Same with hi-cap magazine clips*. The bans in CA have not always existed and in fact are not all out bans. I have friends out there with 100%legal collections that would rival many owned by members here. The key is that these examples are registered assault weapons. You can no longer bring any in, the window for registering existing ones is looong closed, but to say that the possession is itself a crime with the amount of info we currently have is putting the cart before the horse. Much like the DC shooting, I think I'll completely ignore this one for about a week so the media can get their story straight. Once again we see the effects of a media that insist on being the first to make the news. *as they are now known.

That's terrible news Dave. Nashville was definetly storming last night though, I live off of Harding Pl. just a few blocks from Nashville Armory and all last night I was having blackouts and hearing sirens up and down Harding all night. All of which is to say you are most likely correct. It is terrible enough to lose a loved one, its even worse when it happens around a holiday.
