1. Id be interested in a small unofficial tournament. My roommate and i normally fish Cordell hull, but we might could go elsewhere.     Have any photos of your boat?
2.     I believe your number is a bit low.   The 3 SVDs alone would bring over 15k   The rpk is close to 3K   the krink is likely 2K   I dont see a single run of the mill ar in the bunch.. (and there are at least 9 ) easy 1.5k each after optics   Mp5, (could be a copy) just to be on the super conservative side: 2k   fs2000 2k+   Hk45 tactical 1.1k   HK SL8-6 2k, not including the thermal/ night vision sight. (hard to tell exactly what is   Psl 1k     Not counting any of his nfa items or tax stamps (i would guess there is a pre 86 gun in there as well. We are well over the 30 k mark with just a few of these guns.
3.     You have never put together an ak parts kit, have you?
4. Ive always liked H&K's grey room
5. Cool photos, but wrong owner.. http://www.snopes.com/photos/architecture/gunvault.asp
6. SBR Krink check, RPD check, SVD x2 check, 1919A4.... Wait a minute.. He is missing something.
7. You did very well.
8. If smokin doesn't take them, i would love them!
9. Instead of bickering back and fourth, Here is a citation of the law:         (1) It shall be unlawful for a person to sell, deliver, or otherwise transfer to a person who the transferor knows or has reasonable cause to believe is a juvenile— (A) a handgun; or (B) ammunition that is suitable for use only in a handgun. (2) It shall be unlawful for any person who is a juvenile to knowingly possess— (A) a handgun; or (B) ammunition that is suitable for use only in a handgun. (3) This subsection does not apply to— (A) a temporary transfer of a handgun or ammunition to a juvenile or to the possession or use of a handgun or ammunition by a juvenile if the handgun and ammunition are possessed and used by the juvenile— (i) in the course of employment, in the course of ranching or farming related to activities at the residence of the juvenile (or on property used for ranching or farming at which the juvenile, with the permission of the property owner or lessee, is performing activities related to the operation of the farm or ranch), target practice, hunting, or a course of instruction in the safe and lawful use of a handgun; (ii) with the prior written consent of the juvenile’s parent or guardian who is not prohibited by Federal, State, or local law from possessing a firearm, except— (I) during transportation by the juvenile of an unloaded handgun in a locked container directly from the place of transfer to a place at which an activity described in clause (i) is to take place and transportation by the juvenile of that handgun, unloaded and in a locked container, directly from the place at which such an activity took place to the transferor; or (II) with respect to ranching or farming activities as described in clause (i), a juvenile may possess and use a handgun or ammunition with the prior written approval of the juvenile’s parent or legal guardian and at the direction of an adult who is not prohibited by Federal, State or local law from possessing a firearm; (iii) the juvenile has the prior written consent in the juvenile’s possession at all times when a handgun is in the possession of the juvenile; and (iv) in accordance with State and local law; (B) a juvenile who is a member of the Armed Forces of the United States or the National Guard who possesses or is armed with a handgun in the line of duty; (C) a transfer by inheritance of title (but not possession) of a handgun or ammunition to a juvenile; or (D) the possession of a handgun or ammunition by a juvenile taken in defense of the juvenile or other persons against an intruder into the residence of the juvenile or a residence in which the juvenile is an invited guest. (4) A handgun or ammunition, the possession of which is transferred to a juvenile in circumstances in which the transferor is not in violation of this subsection shall not be subject to permanent confiscation by the Government if its possession by the juvenile subsequently becomes unlawful because of the conduct of the juvenile, but shall be returned to the lawful owner when such handgun or ammunition is no longer required by the Government for the purposes of investigation or prosecution. (5) For purposes of this subsection, the term “juvenile” means a person who is less than 18 years of age.         http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/922         Cliff notes: its totally legal for an individual to sell, trade, or loan a handgun to someone over the age of 18.
10.   At least it would get a neat name for the media.
11. I like projectiles made from glue stick much more than wax.   they are far more durable, and normally reusable.
12. But if you are cleaning it, you should just pull the bolt out, instead of just holding it back.
13. Pull the bolt back and push the only button on the left side of the gun.     Edit: "button" is used loosely. Its not a button at all.
14. In general muzzle breaks reduce recoil and muzzle climb, but increase volume (especially muzzle blast) Flash hiders do exactly that. Hide flash. Mainly from the shooter (allowing the shooter's night vision to remain intact especially) You can often tell which is which just by looking at them, Muzzle brakes are always tight fitting to the projectile with ports to help vent gasses. Flash hiders are normally simple cages around the end of the rifle.
15. I dont load shotgun, .22 lr, 7.62x39, or .50 bmg. The .50 wont fit in my press. Ill be set up soon enough to load it.
16.
Heh, I remember those days. Thankfully I lived on campus so it wasn't a problem. Do they still have the cheerleading camps in the summer? Those made summer school a bit more tolerable...
Never been to summer school, maybe i should start.
17.
I don't know if I'll have have good feelings about Cookville...I seem to recall that the police like to shoot family pet dogs at erroneous traffic stops.
An officer wrongly shoots a dog so you have bad feelings towards the whole city? Is that a joke?
18.
In Cookeville for the state championship game today.
So you were part of the parking problem yesterday and today! Every year when we host the championship the entire campus is a wreck due to a large amount of the campus sectioned off for football parking. The only way we can park in the normal parking lot is to pay. As others have said, ttu has a great engr. program. If you ever need anyone to show you around and maybe give a behind the scenes tour, pm me. We could even hit the range after!
19. Any idea what links they are on? If they are on m60 links then its just a pain to d link as there arent too many m60s floating around. If the ammo looks older, it may be on 1919 links. If thats the case id like to know where. I have a hungry 1919 and pre linked ammo is one step closer to shooting. Edit: thats assuming its 7.62x51 Ive also got some linked .50 bmg. It makes it easy to pull one round out and grab as long or short of a link section as i want for the range.
20. I had a very nice offer from greyofk, but i dedided i should just purchace one. My jig is on the way!
21. Local is way cool! But im not at all opposed to paying shipping costs if i have to. Sending a pm to greyofk now just in case. Thanks for the help so far guys!!
22. I am hoping to rent or borrow an ak flat bending jig, i will be bending no more than 3 recievers. I would really hate to have to buy a 170 dollar tool just to bend 3 recievers. I would be more than willing to give a full deposit for the jig to assure it is returned in good shape, as well as whatever rental fee you deem appropriate. I dont post on here very often but i am very active in on pirate4x4 in OSR. Thanks for any help, Keaton
23. I had a "colt" ar .22 that was the same deal, made by Walther, imported by Uramex, and licenced by colt. It was by far the worst functioning gun i have ever laid my hands on...
