Grandfather started this in the late 40’s. Father kept it going in the 60’s. I started in the late 80’s. My son got his first in .243 in 2010. We are not collectors, they are hunting tools for us. And they ALL shoot MOA with regular soft point ammo. Great value.

Hey TGOers, Hunting season is over and I have added two new hunters to the family. I have a new son-in-law that got his first deer this season and a newly retired wife who went hunting for the first time last weekend and actually enjoyed herself (I have been telling her that for 28 years)! I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but maybe one day we will all get to hunt on the same day. You never know. I already own old Savages in .243 and 30-06 with reloading supplies, hence the caliber preferences. They don't have to be pretty. I'm interested in anything that is out there. I'm still in shock that this is going to pass in any state. Unbelievable!!!!!

I can't believe the draft of what will become law in the state of New York. 1. Seven round magazine limit. 2. You have one year to sell all magazines over seven rounds out of state or you must turn them in to authorities. 3. You have one year to retrofit any ten round mags to 7 rounds. There is much more. I have to go to work. You should read it. It's scary. How can you require law abiding citizens to turn in their personal / private legally purchased property?

FYI, I called Charter Arms Wednesday, they said they are getting really close but would not give me a ship date for the .40 cal. He said they have produced a batch but have not been given the ok to ship to dealers. According to him they have been totally reliable in all the test they have done. I'm just passing the update on. I already know I'm going to buy one of the 9mm/.380 versions, it is a very cool concept without the moon clips.
