  1. Dangit - wife's truck broke down so I spent the day working on that instead of shooting the pistol. Maybe next time!
  2. I might actually make this one! Have you guys started soliciting Beretta for match sponsorships and range participation yet? What a great development!
  3. Dangit - hate that I have to miss this one. I'd have loved to shot with another "real man" - ;-)
  4. Does it make any difference that March has 5 Sundays?  Is 3-gun on March 2nd?  Hoping to bring the FAL out to play again -
  5. Lebanon Gun Shop used to have them as well - but it's been awhile since I've been through there.  http://www.lebanongunshop.com/
  6. Glad I can be partly to blame, Mark! It was good to see and shoot with you again. Call it penance for whimping out on Heavy Metal! ;-)
  7. I had a great time today, and enjoyed visiting a new range. Thanks for all the hard work!
  8. You have to AIM a shotgun?!?!? ;-)
  9. Awesome - too bad all I have is an IC. I'll bring the #6 shot just in case. Can I do a slug selection drill if the targets don't fall??? ;-)
  10. I'm in too. It'll be my first trip to Manchester, and I'm looking forward to it! 100rds of .308, .45, and 12 gauge in one afternoon? Sounds like fun!
  11. I forgot - any buck or slugs needed, or is it bird shot only?
  12. Hmmm - I'm very tempted! How many stages? Will I need a dump pouch or can empty magazines hit the ground?
  13. Funniest part was where she said she was disappointed with her results. Then you look at the charts and she finished FOURTH nationally! That just shows how many levels above me she is - I'd be thrilled with fourth. Well done,
  14. Dangit - I'm out.  One day I'll make the Rock, or die trying!!!
  15. Ammo prices and availability got me down, along with a busier than usual schedule. This looks like a great match - I hope I can make the schedule work out. You guys might have to remind me which end the bullets come out of...
  16. Hmm - very tempted by this. Where can I read more about the rules? I typically shoot an iron sighted FAL, 870' and Glock model 30. I could shoot a 1911 if a single stack is required for Heavy, but prefer the Glock.
  17. Ha! I think you earned them! Not mine - but glad it got warm enough that people were taking jackets off this year.
  18. Ahh - you are far too considerate, sir!  Shoot them all and get the practice.  I would've stuck around to help score and paste.  It was good to see you shoot a "modern pistol" for once though! :pleased:
  19.   Wait a minute - didn't you shoot only one gun today after stirring all this up???   It was a beautiful day for a Classifier though - and Robert ran a smooth match as always.  Lots of mulitple guns and shooters, and everyone made it through with only a little bit of wailing and gnashing of teeth.  Thanks for all your hard work, Robert and the other RO's!
  20.   Yep - knowing my luck I'll probably shoot worse this year than I did during that classifier.  If it's not muddy, freezing, raining, or broiling I don't think I can shoot...
  21. I'll be there -
  22. It was intended to replace the 1911 - that's "pistol caliber" to me!
  23. Are you thinking the shotgun should be on a single point sling and dropped to hang when transitioning to pistol, or no slings allowed and set the empty shotgun on a table?
  24. Scores are up - thanks Robert! How on earth did Justin get so good so fast?!?!? Someone has been practicing, or I haven't been paying attention...
